“Two criticisms of the bathroom. The soap and shampoo bottles were unreachable when I was having a bath. Far too high, only useful for a shower or at the basin. Also the non slip patches in the bath were very uncomfortable to sit on. Did the designer of the bath ever try to take a bath??”

“We decided to go to the Bull inn as it was situated well for us as we wanted to go to Sutton Hoo and then the next morning go to Framlingham Castle. “This is the worse hotel i’ve ever stayed in! There was a plate of beans and chips on a chair in one of the ‘lounge areas’ from the night we checked in (could have been there longer!) until the morning we left, which obviously was beginning to smell awful! The room was fine, it was clean, but awfully musty and stuffy. The ‘balcony’ was laughable, it was a small metal platform (think scaffolding) which we couldn’t access anyway because of the window lock. They did supply us with a fan, which...

“Moved rooms after 1st night as mattress in room 1 was very poor quality. ”

“We thought we’d booked a room and were given a suite on two floors which was novel. The staff were great and the breakfast fine. Dinner was excellent although a little expensive although I may be poor of date. We didn’t have time to try the pool but it looked good. You do have to book a time slot. We would stay again but prefer a room in the main house.”

“Very nice property, great base for birdwatching as Minsmere RSPB reserve and Dunwich heath close by. Good facilities and having 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms for 3 of us was excellent. Couple of gripes, single bed mattress was too soft, and dini g table bit too big for the room, made moving around it a squeeze.”
