“Cabin was great! Beautiful view of the mountains off of the deck. Wildlife every morning and evening. Cabin was clean and well stocked with supplies and accessories. “We absolutely loved this place - we wanted privacy on the mountain and that's what we got! We walked out the door and hiked up a mountain, we drove 5 minutes and checked out Pinkerton Hot Spring, we drove N. 25 minutes and hiked Cascades waterfall! The house has EVERYTHING we needed and was appointed with everything I forgot to bring, a true delight while on vacay with children! The only complaint about our stay - we didn't realize the highway would be so loud. At night there isn't much traffic...

“The property in Lake Purgatory drive was perfect for our vacation in July. There was a beautiful view of the mountains and hummingbirds that we enjoyed while relaxing on the back deck. Temperatures were perfect as it is about ten degrees cooler than the city of Durango. All of the accommodations were wonderful. The owners original artwork was a unique touch that we enjoyed. We highly recommend the property!”

“This was one of my favorite places and I wish we could’ve spent more time here. We were so busy doing things in the area that we didn’t allow enough time to just enjoy this house and the property around it. Not only that it was incredibly clean. Everything we needed was available to us. The beds and pillows were comfortable. Communication was exceptional with the host. The only drawback is that there is only one bathroom.
