“The room and facilities were good though the bathroom has a window grill open to outside so was freezing cold at night, to cold to stay in for a shower etc. We ate at the restaurant, the steak was amazing, perfectly cooked but and they didn't deliver to the table any of the sides we had ordered so we had steaks, no potatos, no veggies, and some how we were charged $29 for what we are pretty sure was a $17 glass of wine. “What a little gem Hill End Lodge was. We arrived late at night - cold and tired. John welcomed us warmly and Sue and Laura cooked up a storm for us. The place was warm and welcoming. Food and drinks were excellent and the atmosphere was just beautiful. Cabin was set in the most beautiful surroundings and cosy and comfortable. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return. Thanks all. ”

“Having stayed here previously, the motel is of a very good standard for a medium sized western town. There was only one minor issue. The Staff were all excellent offering advice on where to eat, the air conditioning worked well and there was ample parking”

“The area was nice and quiet with just the sounds of the birds and the wind in the trees. Amenities were good. Bedrooms were really small and the cabin was a bit dated particularly the bathroom which also was very small. Bed was a bit hard for my liking, but sheets were clean and crisp.”
