Limpio, práctico, ideal para el descanso
Ciertamente ha sido una experiencia buenísima. Un trato muy cercano y humano por parte del Personal y una atención muy personalizada. Despertabas como en plena naturaleza, con el canto de los pájaros y algunas ardillas subiendo por los arboles. Sinceramente, LO RECOMIENDO

Extraordinaria estancia
Desde nuestra llegada nos recibieron de una forma muy cálida y amable. El lugar es precioso. Sus anfitriones extraordinarios como Juana, zulema y el administrador. El desayuno es sencillo pero suficiente y la mermelada de guayaba inigualable. La cercanía a todos los lugares turísticos hacen innecesario cualquier otro servicio. Felicidades por una estancia extraordinaria.

very nicely located, a bit noisy as it is close to the plaza and a lot of other attractions. My only complaints are that the atmosphere felt a bit awkward, for example having to repeatedly ask for TP, the water definitely never hot only tepid, and being seated outside a guests door for breakfast, and meeting only one service person for the four days we stayed at the hotel. This person was working hard but maybe could use some help

Wonderful place to stay in Mexico City!
We had an amazing time and appreciated all the effort the staff put into making sure we had a great stay. Amy was so sweet and friendly. She made us feel at home! Miguel was always there and ready to help with anything we needed. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it to anyone! We also fell in love with the Coyoacan neighborhood. It is not as much of a touristy area as Polanco or some others, and it was perfect for us. We loved walking around and always felt safe as we explored. It was also a very short walk (1-2 minutes) to the neighborhood center which was always a fun time.

My husband and I LOVED Casa Moctezuma in the charming neighborhood of Coyoacan! Our suite was spacious and quiet. We loved eating our full, delicious breakfast each morning (included in our rate) on the veranda of what was once an old, grand hacienda. Amy the manager and Miguel the hotel's full time staff on site were both so kind and helpful. Everything we wanted to see in the neighborhood...the plaza, market, Casa Azul, and loads of restaurants were an easy walk away. We had a wonderful 5 nights here!! thank you so much!

Wonderful stay and amazing staff
Our stay was wonderful. And I can’t say enough about the staff. Amy was one of the most welcoming and helpful person we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. And, we travel frequently. Miguel was also helpful. The breakfast was very nice and the courtyard was great. The room was slightly tired but very comfortable and spacious and met all of our needs. The Coyoacon region was perfect. Would stay here again any day!

Casa Moctezuma is a lovely place to stay. Tranquil and secure in one of the loveliest neighbourhoods in Mexico City. The staff are very kind. Good breakfast. Immaculate rooms oozing with charm. Recommended.

Wonderful hotel based in a beautiful building with attentive staff! The made-to-order breakfast was spectacular. The location in Coyoacán was wonderful and walkable to the Coyoacán market and the Frida Kahlo museum. Would absolutely stay here again and recommend to others looking to stay in this part of CDMX!

Beautiful & Excellent location in Coyoacán
Beautiful grounds, quiet, safe neighborhood. Loved our loft room with two large kind sized beds. Great to have a kitchenette. Breakfast served at the hotel was delicious. Close to central plaza of Coyoacán.

This was a charming location just a few minutes from the action. It was quiet and safe. Staff was helpful. Chef made an excellent breakfast. Highly recommend.

Casa Moctezuma was so pretty & peaceful. They serve you free breakfast in the mornings and are so hospitable with it - the chilaquiles were my favorite! The hotel is also gated and they do a very good job at keeping track of who is staying at the hotel. I would return 1000 times, I loved it!

Excellent location and atmosphere. Superb breakfast with cheerful and very helpful staff. Only slight negative was seating in the room that could have been more comfortable. This property is a lovely oasis in a very big city.

Beautiful historic house with quiet patio garden. The rooms are large, very clean and have a well equipped kitchenette and dining table. Nice breakfast cooked to personal preference.

Great personnel and details, bad basic features
I was very excited about finding this accommodation. It is a lovely place, an old house recently renovated. Great location if you are going to stay in the area, just a couple of blocks again from all the restaurants and bars of Coyoacan. Personnel is extremely kind and helpful, I can tell you they were the best part of our stay. Breakfast is delicious! Highly recommended. However, I would think twice about coming back. I took a studio room, very spacious, but the mattress was very uncomfortable. Decoration was very nice, but the shower is terrible, is very small, and it's impossible to regulate the temperature (either burning hot or icy cold), it has a shower curtain and since the space is very small, you keep touching it even if you are careful. The watering can is all over the place, and all the bathroom gets wet... it's a mess. They serve the breakfast (I repeat: delicious) right in from of the studio rooms, and it very noisy, it is impossible to continue to sleep because you hear all the noise from the people taking breakfast (laughs, furniture moving, you can even give an opinion to their conversation); on the second day a family choose a table right in from of our room and we just couldn't sleep anymore. I suggest they try to find a space that do not disturb other guest. This was the worse part of all. Also, I remember it said they have valet parking, and it is not true. Parking is very close, no problem there, but it is not valet parking.

Great location near the plaza in Coyoacan. Perfect for visiting Casa Azul, the Trotsky Museum, and mercados. So many good restaurants within walking distance you won't be able to decide!

Perfect home away from home
We've stayed at Casa Moctezuma twice and both stays were wonderful. Coyoacan is a great base for exploring Mexico City proper and all the fascinating places on the south side of the city like the museums devoted to Frida and Diego, great colonial architecture and museums, and the Ciudad Universitaria. Casa Moctezuma is just a few blocks from the bustling twin plazas in central Coyoacan which are full of restaurants and artesenia. The hotel is a converted home from the Porfiriato with individual apartments carved out - each one has a kitchenette. A delicious full breakfast featuring tropical fruits, fresh breads and pasteries, and different Mexican dishes or eggs is included and served in a dining room or outdoors when the weather is good.

Very comfortable. Very close to Downtown Coyoacan.
The staff of the hotel is amazing. The lofts are quite spacious and have everything you need. The hotel is located two blocks away from downtown Coyoacan which is one of the most amazing areas of Mexico City and a must-visit place. It is five blocks away from the museum of Frida Kahlo. And it is close to the public market of Coyoacan. It is a great place to do shopping, have great food, amazing mezcal, listen to Mariachi music, and just enjoy.

Delightful hotel ia the Coyoacan neighborhood.
Good, large room, pleasant patio with fountains and garden, delicious Mexican breakfasts of all sorts, great coffee, staffed by genuinely friendly people. Near all things Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera and truly great restaurants. Don't overlook the Mexican wines, the San Angel market, and the Hernan Cortez house.
