The unit was lovely, very clean, updated, comfortable and the owner was very responsive. There is a lot of noise with the Diplomat next door as the balcony view faces the exterior of the Diplomat's service area (you can see some of the ocean as to sit sideways to the right). However, you do hear truck noise in and out all day and there happened to be construction going on as well. The exterior of the Condo itself is very outdated and every time we exited the unit, as we walked down the hallway there was a very strong smell of, what I'll call "tobacco". It was so bad at times it wafted into our unit. I do have to agree with the comments about check in as well. Check in for me was scary. We were firmly warned to not mentioned we rented the unit from VRBO, that we were there visiting friends. We arrived very late at night, and the security guard drilled us on if the friends in the unit, are they staying with us, were they coming, are we renting it? I honestly didn't know how to respond and said kept repeating, we are staying with friends and I wasn't sure if they'd be there or not. He finally let us up and radioed to someone that renters were on the way up. It is sad though being the unit is nice and we our enjoyed our stay while in the unit itself.
