The pool and hot tub didn’t work, the grill was broken and not usable. The host did nothing and was pretty much unavailable.

The house itself is beautiful, but unfortunately our stay was overshadowed by multiple maintenance problems and a complete lack of communication from the host/management.During our stay, the half-bath sink only had hot water. We were not provided enough toilet paper or towels, and despite requesting additional supplies, we never received a response.A major issue was that the jacuzzi was not usable, which was extremely disappointing since we were unable to use the pool due to weather. The pool also was not heated, as advertised. So we were not able to use both. We sent both messages and voicemails regarding this and never heard back.Most concerning was a strong smell of gas in the backyard. We immediately called and texted to report this, yet again received no response. This was especially alarming from a safety standpoint.While the home is visually appealing, it is poorly maintained. I’ve traveled extensively and rented many homes around the world, and this property had more unresolved issues than any I’ve experienced. Most of these problems could have been easily addressed, but the lack of communication made the situation very frustrating. Unfortunately, the stay was not worth the price paid.

The house was poorly equipped with kitchen, utensils, and supplies. They're literally was not even salt and pepper. If you want to cook at this house, it's going to be very challenging.

Disappointment lurks around every corner

This is a beautiful house that's poorly maintained and terribly managed.There are puzzling oddities like the open toilet in the middle of the master bedroom and poor choices such as wrapping the box springs in torn plastic. On top of that there were daily disappointments; the hot tub never worked although we were repeatedly promised that it would, there was no propane for the grill...and that's all before water started pouring through the ceiling and pooling on the living room floor after two workmen had been in over three days to fix the broken air conditioning upstairs where two of the bedrooms are located. The management company was combative and rude. They should be fired immediately. I hope the owner brings this house up to it's great potential with better management and care.

Never Again

Upon arrival the upstairs was 84 degrees although the ac was blowing and set for 68. Management was condescending and asked if they needed to come over and show us how to press the down arrow. When I responded yes, they remembered they had turned off the breaker. As the previous review stated, the open toilet in the main bedroom is unacceptable as well as the clear glass door on the bedroom so everybody can watch. The second bedroom downstairs has frosted glass doors onto the main bedroom so any lights in the main bedroom annoy those in the second bedroom. There are no spare linens and only eight towels. You end up constantly washing towels for use in the pool/spa. An unadvertised feature is the attached apartment with an unknown occupant which worried the teenage girls (I thought I was renting an entire house). The owner refuses to be contacted and you must text "management" in Guatemala and have them contact the owner to get the pool heated, often didn't work, or to turn on the Spa. The owner only runs the Spa one hour per day. Spent all day Christmas trying to get the pool heated without success. The owner manipulated the ac throughout the stay and one wakes up sweating in the middle of the night when the ac has been reset to 77 degrees. Parking is a premium and there are two driveways for single car parking, except when the owner's son decides to use one on Christmas Eve and you have to drive around looking for a spot. Property is way overpriced and poorly run.

Coral Way Home

Well where do I begin? After having traveled all over the world and staying in Vrbo homes many times - this place has to be the worst. The home was not adequately cleaned from previous guests (water bottles stuck behind the master bed, multiple hairballs in the upstairs bedrooms),not to mention cigarette burn marks on the bedroom sheets, no lights in the upstairs bathroom as well as the master bath(all the light bulbs were burned out, we had to scower the home for extra light bulbs and had to settle for swapping bulbs out of the table lamps). There were no hand towels or wash clothes. The bathing towels were threadbare, old and stained. The ice maker did not work nor did the filtered water from the refrigerator. The pool looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks with leaves and debris floating in it. There was 1 mug for coffee (between 5 people). No outlets on the counter top to charge phones and multiple outlets that didnt even work. Many of the light switches were broken off. The exterior lights in the front of the house did not work. There was a water or pipe leak coming from the second floor dripping onto the floor beneath the spiral staircase, making it very slippery. The TV had a large vertical red line through its picture. The trash receptacle underneath the sink had refuse in it from the previous guest. Clearly, this house is not maintained and I could not recommend this home to anyone staying in the Miami area- avoid at all costs!

Not what I expected

No privacy at all in master bedroom. Toilet inside the room with no door. Had to go to other bathroom for #2. Crazy!!! I asked the manager before about this and didnt answer. Master's door had a see through glass. We asked for something to cover it and they left us a shower curtain 2 days later. Imagine playing in pool table with a perfect view to the masters shower. Too liberal for us. No towels in second bathroom. We asked for more towels and left us 4 different nasty old towels with stains and holes. AC temperature was manipulated and had to wake up at middle of night to fix it. Second bathroom door didn't close. Again no privacy. Communication was terrible. Great house. Need to be managed correctly. Way too expensive for the treatment and problems we faced. I know the manager will respond defending all this but believe me is all true.
