South Miami Oasis with lake views! Short drive to beach!

  • Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway.Frank Lloyd Wright 1960’s style home surrounded by trees and swimmable lake in a quiet southwest Miami community. Features include a screened in patio, deck by the lake, 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Full kitchen with dining area seating for at least 6 people. Additional amenities include laundry and a kayak to use on the lake, which is also great for swimming. 20-30 minutes from Key Biscayne & 30-35 mins from Miami Beach.

    We do require guests sign a rental agreement and provide government ID as a part of their stay. Please reach out if you have any questions!

The property was perfect for our little getaway. It was quiet, clean, comfortable and conveniently located. The host kept us well informed about check in and anything else we needed to know for our arrival. We would definitely stay there again!

This property was amazing, what a special space. We stayed with family, and it was really enjoyable to have outdoor space and the use of the kyaks. The rooms were comfertable and the host was very responsive and accomodating. We will defenitely stay again when we are Miami.

Had such a time! It was like walking into the past and with a view of a lake. We even had a peacock visitor. Will definitely stay again. Great location too!!

This home was very clean and spacious. Great for our 3 adult children to meet together for a family vacation. The deck overlooking the lake was beautiful, tranquil, and was my favorite place to hang out!

Great Stay!We loved our time here. The place was super clean, nicely furnished, and had everything we needed in the kitchen. The lake views were beautiful, and the location couldn’t have been better as it was close to everything but still quiet and relaxing. The host was very responsive and easy to work with. We’d definitely stay here again!

Quiet lakeside Miami retreat

We loved our stay. Our 3 kids loved the lake and kayaking was the highlight. Sunrise views over the lake were a delight. Property is older but nice amenities and the serenity of the location with access to Miami sights was amazing

All the amenities you need. The best for me was the lake/kayaks. Great layout with screened in porch. We just loved this place! Conveniently located for the areas we explored.

Hidden gem! Never been at a better vrbo property in my life. Clean, roomy, well outfitted. Gorgeous porch and lake. The photos don’t lie! Wake up to gorgeous sunrise, ducks, birds . Best host I’ve ever had. Would come back here in a second when I come back to Miami. It was a special occasion for us and the host made it super special

We really enjoyed the desk and Sunroom and privacy of the home. AC and ceiling fans worked well keeping entire house cool. Pots, pans, dishes, silverware etc in kitchen were more than sufficient. I just wished Miami traffic was better.

Absolutely exceeded our expectations in every way. The location was perfect. Close to everything and very secluded. Clean and the price was beyond reasonable. When I stay in Miami again, there is no other perfect place I would like to relax. The screened porch was lovely for peaceful eating and reading. The kayaks around the pond were a great treat. The house was only outdone by its host. Communication was quick, Richard is laid-back and accommodating to possible changes. I truly cannot think of anything that would have made the stay more outstanding. Thank you does not begin to describe my gratitude. I look forward to returning.

Comfortable and relaxing

We especially loved the open feel, and since it was mild temperatures we enjoyed time on the screened-in patio as well as the deck by the water. The home has all the amenities you need and is centrally located to much of Miami.

This is a superb house. Incredibly furnished and maintained. It really feels like a home and the privacy is amazing. We wanted relaxation and this home certainly provided it. Communication was superior from the very first contact. Gracious ! Our stay was the best ever.

Lots of character, very comfortable, spacious, fantastic deck on the water

My family and I had a wonderful stay- we spent a lot of time on the screened porch and on the deck. Easy drive to the Fairchild Tropical Garden and to the Everglades and Biscayne Bay. Good restaurants nearby. Though in a neighborhood, it felt very secluded. Highly recommend!

Feels like Home!

Our family really enjoyed relaxing at this mid-century modern home. It was comfortable and clean, shady and secluded, and had everything we needed. The deck is the perfect spot to watch a glorious sunrise over the lake while sipping morning coffee. The location is convenient to many Miami attractions and the Everglades. Our host was very friendly, quick to respond to our questions, and had some terrific restaurant suggestions. Highly recommend!

Short Stay in Miami-- near HCA Kendall

A hidden piece of paradise in the middle of Miami. Who knew??!! Gorgeous views of the lake, beautiful birds swooping around, and a covered deck to take it all in. The house easily accommodated my family with its four bedrooms. Josh was beyond accommodating as a host and even gave great dining recommendations in the area. Bonus points for awesome showers!

La maison louée était très bien située, conforme au descriptif, parfait pour découvrir Miami et ses environs. La terrasse donnant sur le lac ainsi que le patio sont très agréable. Nous avons apprécié pouvoir profiter des kayaks ainsi que du barbecue. La maison est équipée du nécessaire (lave-linge, sèche linge, lave-vaisselle ....) Josh a été très disponible et réactif a nos demandes.

Wonderful Old fashioned style cabin in a nice location

The property is one of the best cabin for those who prefer to visit Miami, South beach or to Key west. This is designed as old fashioned house by lake with option to do kayaking. The property surrounded by beautiful plants and tree. It is well maintained with great cleanliness. Josh is responsive always. I would love to visit this again with my family and friends. My kids enjoyed it throughly .
