It was like staying at a hotel and camping/glamming at the same time. They will even do your dishes and charge the battery as needed. Highly recommend this spot as it is easy to get around to many sites and attractions. ”

“My friends and I came away very pleased with our no-frills wilderness camping on Rod's property. He has the best view of the Huron Mtns I've seen, with a better perspective on the south faces than Pt Abbaye. They really lit up in the sun with peak color all over. We also loved his sweet dog Max, who quickly pivoted from intimidating bark at strangers to "dare you to try to take my stick" playfulness in seconds.I would go back in a heartbeat, but I did take off 1 star for listing accuracy only...

“I guess this could pass as a campsite. If you don’t mind being surrounded by trailers and storage vehicles on the side of a busy rural highway. If you are looking for an up north Mi camping experience you are hereby forwarned this is not the most scenic campsite! Not mad, just disappointed.But everyone’s gotta make a buck I guess. We decided to not stay the night and instead made the 6 hour trek home a day early. ”

“I had a fantastic stay at this glamping site! Chad and Aimee really know how to go above and beyond for their guests. While I was alone at the campsite, I felt very comfortable and safe. The walk to the river is very easy. Definitely enjoyed reading my book in the hammocks they provided.
