“Beautiful setting right on the river with a very friendly staff team and clean and well appointed rooms.
It’s not luxurious but everything is thought through and it’s clean.
Mattress on the bed was a bit worn - I could feel the springs a bit, so that could do with a replacement but it was a generally really comfortable and relaxed stay.
Food was very good - very nice cooked breakfast and I had one evening meal which was very generous.
As a solo traveller I felt very comfortable and the staff...

“Quirky property, lovely log fire, helpful staff. Good food. Dogs very well catered for.
Would have preferred a groundfloor room, which was originally allocated, but ended up in a first floor room.
Lot of noise from heavy traffic at the rear of the property which can be heard in the room”
