“Wonderful stay at Sea Cottage! Comfortable, convenient, and close walking distance to two beaches and the center of town. Karen was immediately responsive to 2 questions we had before our stay. There were no issues or concerns during our 8 night stay. Nice fenced yard for our dog. We could not have asked for a more wonderful place to stay to enjoy Carmel. Thank you Karen! ”

“We loved our stay at Mermaid Cove - perfect location for walking around Pacific Grove and even into some of Monterey. The place is silly and fun with all the mermaid decor but really well maintained and loved. :) Only two notes:—The bed is SUPER squeaky, even just to adjust it's quite loud/disruptive...might need some WD40—The wifi didn't work for us at all, we mostly used hotspots. The homeowners built this guest house on their property and did a fantastic job of creating a cozy getaway. From the clean design to efficient use of space, we thoroughly enjoyed the four days we spent there. “Cleaned everything except sheets and was charged extra for not washing sheets ( stripped bed and left sheets in tub with towels as per hotels ) but no washer and dryer. 4pm checkin and 10am checkout seems like the host is prioritizing the cleaning crew over the guests. Instructions mention cottage although the room appears to be a half carport walled in under a house.”
