“I was very pleased with this apartment. It was beautiful and very handy for my eclipse needs. I thought the pictures of it didn't do it justice! It was quiet and had everything I needed. The only drawback was the long staircase to get up there with my luggage, but I managed. I brought some soap and shampoo for my showers and needed them. ”

“A good place to stay, it is either new or recently updated. However, as most places are things sometimes need attention, for example, the cabinet doors under the sink were very loose, the host was unaware. I blame the prior guests for not bringing it up. The host contacted us a few times during our stay to make sure things were right. I am confident that the small things would get addressed after we left. I would stay again. Pictures are correct.”

“This unit is a little difficult to rate in some ways. First, it's a very quiet setting, comfortable, lovely artwork, and w the needed amenities. Yet it seems a work in progress, as if the host rushed to market it. A few things had not been completed, and the bedrooms are not comfortably arranged so that watching TV is awkward. We got off on the wrong foot as the host provided zero information about parking, internet, etc. I had to contact vrbo after no answer to my messages after 2 1/2 hours....

“I needed a place to stay in Du Quoin while visiting family and was delighted to find a beautifully renovated apartment above a shop on Main Street. “The listing led us to believe that this was a secluded cabin, when it was really next to their other available cabin. There wasn't anything noted on the rental info that identified between the two cabins. We ended up walking around to the doors of the wrong cabin. There were very few towels available considering ones necessary for the hot tub. Other than that, and the eclectic dish and cup selection, it was quite peaceful and it did feel very private even with people in the neighboring cabin....
