When we got there with a baby and a 4 year old, the host said we can´t stay because kids were not allowed, she wasn´t even being nice and comprehensive, like if it was our fault.The expedia information said: kids welcome. “The Anchor Inn is an charming old house located a couple of street from the action downtown. I would point out that these old houses have paper thin walls and old plumbing and very small bathrooms so be prepared for a tiny shower stall and hearing every thing from your fellow guests.”

“We enjoyed the charm of the inn. Each room had a uniqueness. The staff was very accommodating during all of our interactions. We took stars away because the self service coffee station was not maintained very well. There were shortages of items and at time it wasn’t always clean. Breakfast was not put until 8am which is late if you want to get an early start. Brewed coffee wasn’t available until 8 am either. Earlier than that time, there were only k-cups. The deck is only staffed until 8 pm...
