“Everything was as advertised. The cabin was clean and ready when we arrived. We never turned on the TV, but we did use our travel Bluetooth speaker. We chose the downstairs bedroom, even though it has the smaller bed, because the view out the windows is superior. Our dog loved the yard and chilling on the porch. The RV was not there during our stay, so all was quiet and private. It was just right for us!”

“We booked last minute and heard back quickly with clear instructions. Only thing that would have made it clearer is describing which door to use for baby bear or a sign on the door, but it was pretty easy to figure out. Others have said the place is updated, so even better than the pictures. It’s super and a perfect getaway for two. ”

“This is a beautiful big country cabin and the theme holds up through out. Only caution is it can be hard to find at night and there is no cell service in the area. Know exactly where you are going before you go. Also, make sure you see all fees before you book. I would stay there again if I had a larger group. ”

“I stayed here with my 5 girlfriends for a weekend to celebrate my 50th. After a couple of them left, some of the Dads came up with the kids. The property was spacious with ample bathrooms. Everything was really clean. My friends enjoyed the extra spices that were left behind in the pantry for cooking our meals. We roamed the property near the creek and the kids enjoyed the fair garden. We were finally able to enjoy the jacuzzi right before we left. We can't wait to come back! Just a head's up...

“Our stay at duck pond was just as wonderful as advertised. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything our family of four (adult to 6years old) needed. The property itself was serine and ruggedly well kept. The loft ladder was quite steep. So, not for anyone who may not be able to climb a vertical ladder or very young children. The kayak onsite was a nice touch but another PFD would have been nice. Overall duck pond was a 5 star for our family and would definitely rent again!”

“This cabin is perfect for a stay for a small family or couple. All necessary accommodations are available the environment was so cozy and clean. The host has good communication and was willing to accommodate our dog that recently got hurt right before our trip and our child whom we had to take our trip. The host even offered a Air mattress if needed. This is a highly recommended VRBO and I would definitely stay again at this location! ”

“We were truly blown away by this little oasis in Nevada City. My husband and I stayed here with our baby and our dog while celebrating our anniversary and we couldn’t have been more delighted with the space. It was our first time visiting Nevada City and this was the perfect place to stay. It was literally a three minute walk into town, the whole place had doors opening out the deck and its gorgeous view, and the creek was absolute paradise. “This was a quick trip. We were in town for a graduation. Great location. House was very clean and well stocked. We forgot to bring coffee and creamer and when we got there they had several bags of coffee to choose from with a large canister of sugar and assortment of creamers. Bathrooms had everything needed. We highly recommend this home”

“We are usually a very active family but this trip we really enjoyed slowing it down and hanging around the house. They had a bunch of games, dvd, kids books. More than enough room and beds. It was hard to pick which rooms to stay in. Ha! Our family needed this and it was great get away. Town is not far and we feel in love with Nevada city. They had dog man books and my son was over the moon about that. Great stay highly recommended it. ”

“We traveled with a group of 8 and the cabin provided plenty of space. The open space of living and kitchen provides a welcoming and open atmosphere. The huge deck can be accessed from kitchen and living space and gives an amazing few over the Yuba river and the forest.Two separate bedrooms are on the same floor with living room and kitchen and share a bathroom. “The location near the Cascade Canal Trail and the proximity to town are two great reasons to stay, but the house is just so comfortable! Beautiful views from every window. Large, nicely designed and well appointed kitchen and each living area a place to mingle and share time with family and friends. The bathrooms are beautiful and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The owners thought of everything. Can't wait to come back! Thank you!!!”
