The room was very clean and well fitted. The staff we saw were very friendly. Storage facilities were very convenient. The location was great- so close to 5th Ave and Grand Central Station. No complaints.

Quiet Spot for Short Stay

The studio was perfect for our 3 days/2 nights stay with preplanned busy schedule. Hot shower and decent bed. Location was perfect for all the things we had scheduled.

Amazing Location

We loved staying hear because it was so central to many attractions and we coukd easily walk to the subway stations. The place was clean and check in was convenient. Definitely would return.

We really enjoyed our stay in this quaint studio apartment. Alex was extremely responsive to any of our needs. It’s in a great location, safe walking distance to attractions like Bryant Park and Times Square. Thank you Alex!

Great location, convenient to everything we wanted to see. Secure location immediate response from owner. Bed is firmer than I like but that’s my preference.

Perfect!

This was exactly what we needed. It was within walking distance to everything we wanted to do. Communication with the host was fast and easy. The property looked just like the pictures. I would stay here again and would highly recommend this place.

The hotel was actually a lot nicer in person than it was in the photos. It was better than I expected. The room was a decent size and we had a private bathroom. It was perfect for me and my mom for New Year's. The staff was nice and the lounge was nice. The hotel has a very classic feel to it.

Great Stay

This was a great place for a couple of days in NYC. Alex was very helpful and responsive. Everything is done via codes, so you can come and go as you please. The location is very convenient to Time Square and Bryant Park.

Location is everything they say. For this trip, it was soooo true! It was a nice beautiful building, in the heart of the city! We walked everywhere! We did not see the kitchen (communal), as we were out and about a lot, and did not cook. The room was small, but nice. The furniture could get updated... all bad Ikea, cheap furniture (the couch is extremely uncomfortable).

Comfortable, Clean, and Convenient

The room is very comfortable and clean. The fridge has a small freezer section that worked. The place is in a great neighborhood and the restaurant/bar next door is a gem. We didn't use the communal kitchen but it was really clean and had many different appliances and supplies. The little lounge on the first floor was a nice quiet place to hang out.

Our NYC Home Away From Home!

This property is truly a gem! A gorgeous historic building that is only a couple blocks from Bryant Park, The New York Library, Grand Central - the list goes on! We came for a trade show and this really was the perfect spot to end our busy days at. Alex is a most gracious host and was readily available anytime we had a question!! They also had a lovely girl who was at the front desk if you had any needs. Overall I am so grateful we found this listing and will absolutely be back!

Great location and responsive host, but not much else good. No cups or glasses. A/C loud and not very effective. Bed uncomfortably bouncy. No side table one side of the bed.

Everything was ok, the only real issue was that I’m glad it didn’t get any hotter. The A/C was not able to keep the apartment cool.

The place was clean and quiet, for the most part. Steps away from Times Square, I was close to virtually everything. My only complaint is that there wasn't an AC unit in the room. The weather was mild enough that the room stayed comfortable, though. However

Not What the Picture Showed

No top sheet on the bedNo stopper in the sinkNo way to regulate the heatNo Coffee with the potTowels were small and barely usableBare bulbs in the ceiling lightI believe in addition to renting to travelers, there are many people who live there permanently. Several times there were strong smells coming from other apartments. Not bad smells, but heavy with cooking odors.The location was very good.We would not return.
