The security latch chain for the door was broke. The rooms aren’t sound proof. I hear others conversations and an alarm. Other than that it served its purpose.

The hotel was supposed to be in a new building but the facility was unfinished. The staircase had a blue tape across it and could not be used. It is against fire safety codes. There were no light fixtures around the two beds so the room was very dark. Half of each electric outlet had a plastic blocker inside and could not be used. The room had no sofa or chair for guests to sit. The website said there was a separate bedroom but it was all one room. I asked the front desk to order me a taxi. He called an unlicensed operator who changed the fare to cash only and raised the price once we were inside the taxi. The driver ordered us to get off in front of Central Park, one mile away from the destination: American Museum of Natural History. I had trouble walking and almost got stranded at Central Park.

They checked somebody else in with our reservation number. We arrived and got notified with they can’t find our reservation in the system. We had to wait there for them to figure out what’s going on. Also there’s an extra service fee you have to pay at check in supposing for their service checking you in… I don’t understand what part of service I received that worth the fee.. would never stay there again.

Listing shows available parking but we did not know the location of parking as it is not visible. After we parked the car 2 blocks down we were told at checking in that we have to let them know and they will raise the gate. There was no coffee in rooms, no ironing board or iron. The towels were small and cheaply made. The a/c unit was very old. This place did not look or feel like a hotel. I would never stay there again.

Hotel was great. The only thing is they do have parking at the hotel that I had to pay an extra 30.00 to park my car in the hotel parking space. Fees should be waived for hotel guests. They were only 3 cars in their parking lot. Is not like I’m taking anyone’s space. Other than that hotel and room was very confortable.

Mixed Bag
Hotel was advertised as having sound proof rooms which was not the case. I could hear yelling & screaming by various guests as well as the guest's TV next door around 4:45AM. I booked the room in the hope that I would have quiet for at least one night so it was a somewhat disappointing experience.

The room is nice and look clean. I need to pay $4.36 at the property for service fee during the check in . I paid $5 cash. I did not receive back of my change. While in the room, asked for Wi-Fi over the phone… the receptionist said it is on the key card or back of the key card. The key card was white. I couldn’t see anything. The chain door guard of the room was not working.

Clean room marred by weed smell from adjacent room
Room was clean, beds comfy, bathroom nice. Had microwave and refrigerator in room and a smart TV. We settled down for a quiet night, however, the room filled with weed smell that was making its way in from the bathroom ventilation. Entire hallway reeked of it too. We called the front desk about it but they did little to help. We decided to leave super early due to tbis issue. For how much was charged in room rent, we expect management to rectify the problem.

Everything was good, the staff was nice. Having NO ice machines was the only thing i would say i was not to pleased with but the staff informed me that the hotel is new. So Im understanding, definitely coming back!!!
