Información de la propiedad

Large late1800's home within walking distance to Opera House and downtown.

  • Ryan and I are certain you will love Newberry's friendly "small town" atmosphere. Our home was built in the late 1800's. It provides visitors with an eclectic blend of "old house" charm and modern updates within walking distance to the Newberry Opera House and wonderful downtown restaurants. The house features almost 4000 square feet of high ceilings, heavy pocket doors for privacy, three fireplaces, four bedrooms with three queen and two twin beds, 3.5 baths...and a wonderful front porch.

Be sure to examine the reproduction of the photograph unearthed on the property during renovations. There is something quite odd about it!!! Can you determine what it is? Take a mini tour of the house on our Ramblin Man YouTube channel at

It was a short overnight stay for us during a graduation weekend but it was very pleasant. It is located in a quiet neighborhood with a lovely front porch to sit on. The house was filled with interesting artwork and photos that were fun to explore. Definitely a pleasant stay!

This house is an experience not just lodging. It would take a week just to explore all the supple nuances of this house. The location was convenient to all locations in Newberry. And convenient to Prosperity. This was ideal for our plans attending a wedding and other events. My wish is that the host provided a history of the house. We were there on the hottest day this summer. Some areas were hotter than others. We had options to set the temperature lower. But, didn't reaize it until last day. Hosts were very flexible and accommodating. If I'm in the area again, I will definitely look at staying there again.

My friends and I found the house to be warm and welcoming. We loved the charm of its interior. The living room space was a great place for the 5 of us to hang and chat. The bathrooms have some quirks being an old house. It has a coffee machine but not one for k-cups.

This beautiful Southern home was perfect for our family gathering. The house is spacious, cozy, and homey. We did lots of porch sitting, visited with each other in the sitting rooms and around the large kitchen table. The kitchen is very well equipped if you want to cook. And downtown Newberry is a comfortable 2-block stroll away. The host was very responsive and accommodating. Our stay was everything we hoped for and more!

This home is a very unusual rental. The neighborhood it is in is upscale and beautiful. The house itself is beautiful, and while it's a little rough around the edges, it was extremely clean and extremely unique. The most unique thing about it was how stuffed, absolutely stuffed with things it is. Usually, when you go to a rental home, the place is stripped of anything valuable or interesting in order to not get stolen from. This home, however, was full of eclectic, appropriate, interesting items, which created an experience unlike any other home rental I've ever been to.
