“The Quiet Cottage, also known as Stolhammer Hus, is the perfect base to explore the Mesabi Bike Trail and the Range. The house is very clean, well equipped, and very comfortable. Great screened in porch, as well as a deck that has you sitting in the woods. The host is great, very accessible and helpful with local recommendations. I would highly recommend the Quiet Cottage in the Woods!”

“Wonderful stay! Mike and Andrea are amazing hosts and truly care about their guests! We had the pleasure of visit with Mike a few times and think the world of him. Great location close to Jay Cooke State Park and not far to surrounding areas. Property was spotless, quiet and great neighbors. Perfect for a couple or small family. Can’t say enough great things about our stay, hosts and people of Minnesota.”

“It was a great stay with an amazing view and fun games! I think my only complaint is the bunk beds are in an actual closet and the trash can in the kitchen is very small. Other than that everything was great! And the hosts were spectacular about getting back to me! Would DEFINITELY stay here again”

“This unit was comfortable. The beds were great for a sound sleep. Very large kitchen, living and dining area was roomy. Enjoyed coffee on the front porch or back deck. Surprisingly found the downstairs bathroom by opening a door in the laundry area, The only thing that was a little difficult was the shower in the upper bath which had a weird ring on the foucet to pull down on to get the water to spray. Really close walk to the beach on Lake Superior. Canal Park is easy access by foot. We would...

“Great visit to the MN Point Beach House! As ALWAYS, greatest location, easy access for walks on the beach and quick visits to Canal Park. Also really enjoy hiking the end of Park Point!Wonderful stay with great weather!”

“Very quaint, cozy place. Had everything we needed to unplug and unwind. There wasn't a swimming beach for us, but the dog had a marvelous time splashing around. The hot tub was an added bonus & felt wonderful! ”

Played Darts on nice electronic board in garage. Nice fire pit unfortunately it rained and we had no time to use. ”

We did have a lot of trouble with the front lock not letting us in so we did have to go around to the back door a few times. This is definitely place that left us with some fond memories and we would look to come back to.”
