“We had a great experience. This property is private and quiet. Eagles were nesting in the treetops and deer came everyday to eat from the apple tree. There’s a nice fire pit on the shore with plenty of wood where we enjoyed sunsets and s’mores. The WiFi was fast and reliable. It’s close to a few towns with different restaurants, shopping and activities. The host was communicative and responsive. We would stay here again.”

“Our family really loved staying here! The house was exceptionally clean and had plenty of space for our 4 adults and two kids with lots of toys. It had everything we needed and the beds were comfortable.The location was perfect for us to get to our favorite places such as OMC, Ursa Minor, Lake Superior Zoo, Love Creamery and shopping.It will be our first choice of booking when we come back to visit.”

“Very clean and well kept. If you come with babies, consider bringing a gate for the stairway. Bathroom is downstairs, living area is upstairs. Owner was helpful and obviously loves this little house. Would definitely recommend bringing bugspray if you plan on being outside later in day. Will stay here next time we come. ”

“This place is relaxing, clean and comfortable. The sound of rushing water from Crown Creek is nothing short of therapeutic. It's in easy reach of Lake Superior or head the other direction and enjoy the quiet forest. If you plan on grilling, you'll need to bring a portable grill, as the grill is unusable. No tv channels, but who cares.”

“We needed a place to stay on Lake Superior's north shore where some of us would use as a base and others would just stay behind to enjoy the beautiful scenery. This location worked perfectly for us. The space was large and worked nicely. We cooked most of our meals there and were able to get out to the places we wanted to visit. ”
