Imagine beautiful sunsets in front of a roaring fire on the deck in autumn - that’s what we got. (Not sure if the owners arranged the sunsets, but the fire & indoor wood burner were ready to light.) “This property, with onsite parking, has beautiful sea views and is in a great location within walking distance of town. The house has two bedrooms with queen beds and another with two single beds, a bathroom and separate toilet. A washing machine is located in a separate area at the back of the property. The kitchen has all you need for a self contained stay. Full fridge, cook top and oven, dishwasher and undercover BBQ. The separate living area has plenty of comfortable seating. ”

I was acutely conscious that other people were in the next bedroom and we felt constrained with talking and TV volume etc. I booked it thinking it a hotel but it was like a strangely converted family home.
