“We enjoyed our stay and felt the love and care of the owners have for this beautiful house. The amenities in the form of baked goods and access to beverages was a nice surprise and the breakfast was delightful. When you come, take tje time to admire all the details this magnificent space has to offer.”

“The mansion was beautiful and decorated Victorian style. Our room had its own A/C unit and attached bathroom with shower and spa tub. Breakfast was a delicious combo of cold buffet and personally served hot ham and egg sandwich. The owner is a great host and happy to tell the history of the house and area. Located in downtown Dubuque and walking distance to restaurants. ”

I had a friend's wedding in the area and being one of the further away guests travel expenses were already adding up fast. most of the hotels in the area for the time I needed to be there were a bit over my budget. As I descended the original, narrow stairs with the low hand rails I imagined the original women in their high button shoes and hoop skirts more gracefully than me maneuvering them daily.
