“Having read some scary reviews, we were a little worried - but it was not at all Fawlty Towers. The building itself is magnificent - it's definitely the tallest room I've ever slept in. The roses in the walkway - such a scent. The gardens have a well-tended, shabby-chic feel where you can see the grandeur of the original planting being colonised by nature. “This was a magnificent experience. The chateau is surrounded by beautiful gardens and nature. The sounds, smells, and views are spectacular. It has a convenient location yet feels very private. The bedrooms are comfortable and the bathrooms are numerous, clean, and pleasant. There are many places to sit and relax including the excellent rooftop deck. The stairs to the three second floor bedrooms are a bit steep but with good railings. There are many choices of dining areas, indoor, outdoor,...

“After initial booking, don't expect much more help from the booking agency. And if French is not your spoken language, hire or ask a french speaking friend to help with booking the vendors. The recommended caterers are ok. Book the times 30 minutes earlier to ensure it's on time. And make sure ALL details are in writing and explored, or you may be disappointed.”
