“We spent 2 weeks in the region with Jamaicaville as our base only leaving the property to go to Newcastle. Most days were spent lazing around, short walks and watching the kangaroos & the diversity of birds at sunrise & sunset. It was very hot on most days, however the house was very well insulated with the rammed earth walls. Everything we needed was supplied & if we had any questions, Sarah the property manager was very responsive. Jamaicaville is a fabulous location to get away from...

“Everything was perfect, outdoor pool and spa was nice, I loved the layout of the house, open kitchen, dining and living. Beds were comfy and enough bathrooms for large families.”

“Great hosts, very informative sending plenty of information before arrival. Beautiful open plan house with heaps of sunshine, we spent most of our time in the unique bushland on the property with rocky escarpments and a running stream spotting wildlife such as wombats, kangaroos and lots of birdlife. We would recommend this stay to anyone looking to unwind.”

“On arrival we made a cuppa & sat down on the verandah and ahhh…tranquility. Our daughters ran around in our private yard with a swing and we could unwind. Met the owners the next day and then every morning our girls fed the horses and sheep with them. So much fun. We were even given extra hay to feed the horses when they were next to our yard. Can’t rate it high enough”

“This place is a little gem, all of the staff are happy and helpful. They are great communicators. This is a very rustic place, very clean, warm rooms, comfy beds. They offer cooked dinners as they are out of town, I had the cooked dinner and it was awesome. They have a very nice selection of quality wines. They have areas on the property that you can bush walk, with a lot of birdlife and native plants. There is an unsealed dirt road of about 10km long to get to them, considering the length...
