Our getaway over the longer Easter weekend to Oak Island and Chick Inn of the Sea was absolutely wonderful. The location of the house is perfect. We were on the beach everyday and the little convenient store right across the street was nice. We used the golf cart a lot to get everywhere. The house was perfect for us! It had everything we needed and was clean. The kids enjoyed laying out by the pool and loved having their own bedrooms. The storage room downstairs has everything you need for a proper beach day and even bikes to ride. Most relaxing vacation ever. We felt like we were "home" but at the beach. We will definitely be back!!

Beautiful home!

First time visiting Oak Island and it did not disappoint. The home is beautiful, everything is new and clean plus an easy walk to the beach, we didn’t even use a wagon or cart. Late April is a great time to visit as it’s a little less crowded.

Super Relaxing

Everything you need for a relaxing vacation is available at The Chick Inn of the Sea. Wonderfully appointed beach home with all the bells and whistles! Check in was easy and efficient and the property owners were quick to respond to any questions we had. Loved everything about the home and look forward to returning!

family beach get away

All i can say was everything was amazing. From first arrival being greeted with a personal sign, the little basket of goodies even had some goodies for our doggo. their was a binder with all info that you could possibly have a question for. the pool was fantastic break from the ocean when we would come back for lunch or dinner. and creamcicle was amazing. even had a coffe station with flavors of the week. everything was perfect. we plan on making this a new family tradition as the kids are really kids anymore and this is the best way to all come together for a few days.

Perfection!

This home is the perfect beach vacation home. The owners have thought of every possible detail! The interior of the home is beautiful and clean and the outside includes a pool, fire pit, and use of a golf cart! Also we liked having a front staircase and back staircase to the house. Extra towels and pool towels were plentiful along with throws for the couches which were wonderful for night time Olympics watching.They have thought of every little detail!

Beautiful oceanside home

Me and my family had a great time during our stay. Angela is very quick to respond to any questions, the house was very clean, there was many activities for all ages to enjoy! The golf cart access was a huge plus even though the beach is a 2 minute walk.

Amazing Stay

We were in town for Pledge the Pink.. a breast cancer fundraiser! 3 walkers and two spouses who tagged along for support. Angela was a fantastic host and communicated with us very well prior and throughout our stay. The house was exactly as pictured and very well stocked with everything we needed! The attention to detail was better than any other home we’ve rented in the past! Outdoor areas were amazing… and the Creamsicle golf cart was icing on the cake for getting around! Our group absolutely loved Chick-Inn of the Sea and will hopefully be back!

Will rent again! Wonderful stay!

This home and the property managers were wonderful!! Excellent location, exceptionally clean, and the hosts truly thought of everything with the house being stocked! The pool, golf cart, and games at the house were used daily. My family and I have rented a beach house almost every year for the last 25 years and we never had a place that was so clean with all the amenities you could think of. OKI does charge for parking everywhere (and be sure to pay it because the ticket is $75 if you don’t!) but the golf cart with the house is covered so you don’t have to pay to park anywhere you drive the golf cart which was so clutch! Very thankful for the wonderful experience and memories at the Chick!

Amazing!

This was my first time renting a house at the beach, so I was a little nervous about what we would find when we got there. Wow, what we found was amazing! First off the process was so easy. Angela was so accommodating and so pleasant to work with. The house was beautiful and fully equipped with everything we needed. The house was just a short walk to the beach and the golf cart sure came in handy to carry all the beach stuff ( a lot furnished by the owners). I would definitely come back Chick Inn of the Sea and Oak Island! Thanks Angela and Sascha!

Location and Fully Supplied

Location was great! Easy access to beach and able to walk to convenient store if we needed something quick. House was well equipped with all the extras just in case we forgot something. The pool was a hit with everyone and enjoyed every day, even in the rain! Hose is under the house to allow easy cleanup from beach and outside shower as well! Cozy and great rental!

Perfection!!

I had never booked off VRBO before and but Angela and Sascha made everything so easy. From booking to checking in and adding an extra day a month before our trip. This home is stunning, spotlessly clean, and everything that you need to have a great vacation at the beach. It's perfectly located to everything. There is nowhere else I would rather stay now. They have really thought of everything. This place deserves more than 5 stars.

Chick-Inn of the Sea is Wonderful!

From the very first communication through checkout our family could not have asked for a better experience. The house itself is in a great location, spotless, and comfortable for everyone.. An easy walk (or golf cart ride) to the beach or a short ride to launch a kayak, shop or hit a restaurant. Lots of games/toys for fun at the pool or decks to watch the world go by.. A thoughtful welcome surprise awaited us as we entered. A well stocked pantry meant no extra trips to the store for the spice you inevitably forget to pack. We can't wait to come back again. Thank you for everything Angela!

Magical and memorable!

This beach home is decorated with eclectic art and furniture created by the very talented owner. Loaded with amenities not often provided in a beach rental. Very conveniently located near a close beach access. Couches and beds are so comfortable and the home is immaculate. One of our favorite activities was riding the golf cart down to the west end point for breathtaking views! Angela was incredibly hospitable; she has truly paid attention to every detail. This home is provides luxury and comfortability…Not your average OKI beach rental!

Absolutely Perfect!

Beautiful home, nothing short of 5 star service! Host was absolutely fabulous. If you have this place booked, you are in for a treat, if not, book it now. On the beach in a minute or less. Pool area is amazing and the golf cart is just the icing on the cake. Will definitely book again!
