The property was essentially as expected based on the pictures. It was adequate for our stay but it definitely isn't luxurious. The furniture isn't the most comfortable but it was okay.
The good:
We paid extra to have the pool heated for our November stay, and the pool was nice and warm for our kids to swim.
The house location is great being right on the water.
Many bedrooms and bathrooms mean the house can comfortably accommodate a large group.
The bad:
The beds are NOT made when you arrive; you have to put sheets on every single bed you plan to use (sheets are provided, just to be clear).
The towels are very old and low quality, almost threadbare; they're also mis-matched colors.
Plumbing fixtures and bathrooms are in need of updating. Showerheads are extremely low-flow. There are marks on many of the toilet seats and some of the toilets are very slow to flush.
The light bulbs in the entire house are blue-white light (like flourescent lights).
While communication with the management company was fine prior to our stay, they never responded to our text messages, emails, or VRBO messages we sent during our stay.
