The wedge away is a hole in one!

This house is amazing! Not only is it listed accurately it had a ton of amenities we didn’t even know about. The garage is packed full of really cool things to use around the island and on the third floor the storage under the TV has a lot of board games to use, adult games, children’s toys. The kitchen is fully stocked with any kitchen gadget or utensils you may need so there are no last minute trips over the bridge for things your forgot or items to keep your family busy! I love the setup of the house especially for our group me my husband and our friend with small children stayed on the third floor because that floor has a baby gate to keep them safe from stairs! The second floor was the teenage girls and grandparents the room with all the bunk beds was amazing for them and it kept upstairs quiet from all their giggles. The pool was heated and with all the floats and cornhole and the grill in the back you are pretty set for a really great family night! I love that the pool is not super deep as well. There are a lot of balcony accesses some being private and some more open. Honestly it’s a really great house! All the beds are comfortable the one bad thing I will say about the place is they charge you extra for sheets and towels. I could get past the towels but fitted sheets and pillow cases and top sheets being an extra charge is a bit out of pocket. I’ve never stayed anywhere else that does this so that is my only warning about the property.

Perfect spot

One of the best houses I have stayed in. The view was amazing from every floor. The house was clean and well equipped. Elevator easy to operate especially for the elderly. The point of contact very friendly and accommodating. Would book again without hesitation!

New Tradition

We booked this house again for next year even before we were done with our vacation this year. It was the perfect space for our two families and the kids range from 2-18 and 2 sets of parents. We can not wait to go back next year.

Lovely location

This house is a perfect location to the beach and the best equipped kitchen I have seen to date. This stay was a retirement celebration with 11 family members and we enjoyed our visit. My only feedback would be to provide at least two towels person and kitchen towels to help us clean.

Beautiful house!

My family had a wonderful stay here! The house was so beautiful and clean. The view was great, with ocean views. The kids enjoyed the games, books and toys. The kitchen was well stocked (even had two dishwashers!)and so pretty. The pool was a good temperature, and the l beach a short walk away and very quiet. I hope to return!

Best of 25 years

We have been renting at OIB for the past 25 years…both ocean front down in the gated community, and canal locations and this house is by far our favorite!! Cleanest home we have ever rented and best equipped. Communication was beyond outstanding and you absolutely cannot beat the location, Beach access proximity, amenities and full beach and ocean view were all perfect.

Perfection!!

This is our 9th year staying on OIB, and we’ve stayed all over the island. This house was AWESOME. The layout could not be better for big families, or a group friends. The bedrooms are away from one another, private, and you don’t hear every sound like a lot of places. The house was so clean especially to be so big, and it is exactly as described. We had zero issues while staying here, and would love to be there again in a heartbeat. The back yard/pool area is killer, and the walk to the beach is 2 minutes. My husband and I stayed with my older parents in the 2 upstairs bedrooms, and the 4 kids stayed downstairs. It was perfect. They also have a lot of pool floats, beach chairs, and 2 bikes! We had check in details way ahead of time, and amazing communication. Love this place and don’t hesitate to stay here! Oh! And the ocean view is great too!

Perfect multi family beach trip

Having two masters and a separate living area was perfect layout for our two families with teenagers. We could gather together on the top floor or outside in the backyard and they had a place to retreat too as well. The beach access so close, caddy corner from the house. Was maybe a 2 minute walk to a very uncrowded spot. Everything was exactly as listed. We never had issue, but owner was great and checked in several times.

Four different families with kids of all ages. The owners thought of everything, even down to a pocket door to close off the stairs for young children. Very clean, great location to beach, awesome experience!

We’ll definitely be back!

A Wedge Away is honestly better than expected. We went with the whole family to celebrate our moms 70th birthday - plenty of room for all the family and kids to spread out! The house and furnishings are beautiful and the kitchen is FULLY stocked. The access to the beach couldn’t be closer and, holy moly, that VIEW. You have an unobstructed view of the ocean from nearly every front window. This place is special.

The close proximity to the beach was great with a short walk to the beach access boardwalk.

Well appointed; the pool was perfect for the kids when tired of the beach. The elevator made hauling luggage and food a breeze.

Beach stay

We really loved the house it was great. We were close to the beach without a lot of traffic. Loved the elevator for us older people that don't need to climb a lot of stairs. We saw some small ants inside but had no problem with them. We would love to stay again. Thanks, Reginald Price

Spring Break Vacay

Wonderful house and a great location. The house is laid out perfectly with 2 living rooms. The kids could play games and watch a movie while adults did their own thing upstairs. would highly recommend this property.

Awesome time!! Highly recommend. Will be back!!

Property is better than described. I had to write an email asking for the wifi password... which my family pointed out was conveniently included on the refrigerator, in front of the TV, and several other places! I still got a fast response which was appreciated. I loved the pocket slider on the top level, as well as the optional door alarms going to the back area/pool. There were three children (one baby <1 year, and two 4 year olds) with us. Everyone had a great time.
