great spot to stay on vacation - easy access to the beach and exploring the marshes and intercostal via kayaks was fantastic. awesome screened porch with water views extended the living space of the home.

Great location!

Really enjoyed our stay. The location was a short walk to the beach (nothing a beach cart couldn’t handle). The water in the inlet gets low so have to time fishing and kayaking accordingly. Overall a great place.

Messaging with the owner - great and personable. The messaging from the rental agency was alot and programatic - open to us coming early or checking out late (as no one was coming) but for a fee - could get into the house but right at 4...would give you linens but all for a fee. Reminders to be out promptly at 10 and if we forgot something it could be returned for a fee...We do understand that you need to do this to insure the cleaning crews can get in and I am sure renters take advantage of the owner but it was a constant reminder that our trip was coming to an end and we could always do more for more . (just not very personable) The house worked great for our needs and we had a great Thanksgiving at the house and were appreciative of us being able to use the deep fryer away from the house. Great time with family and love ocean isle

Our stay was great. The house is ok. I’ve notified Brunswick Vacation properties of the things we were disappointed with. Mostly the quality of the home compared to the photos in the listing. It should also be noted that the canal is a high tide only canal. At low tide it is completely empty of water. It was nice but without improvements I wouldn’t stay there again.

Our family enjoyed this property. We loved being able to rent the homeowners golf cart and not having to deal with a rental company. We will go back again.

First family vacay

Honestly our stay was great. It ended a bit early but the management group was absolutely excellent throughout the entire process. The house was perfect for our family and little ones. We loved the little toys upstairs and the screened in deck was perfect for toddler dance parties :) the distance from the beach isn’t bad but we had to take golfcart because of the littles. Overall very good and while we are sad to leave early we would stay again.

Family time

Good location to beach and local attractions. Nice table for playing games. Overall cleanliness was good. Upper outside deck stairs and balcony are not very secure and sketchy. Shower didn't drain well but consistent with being an older property.

Family getaway

We enjoyed our time at this property. We loved the floor plan with 2 bedrooms and a shared bath downstairs and 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms upstairs. The large dining table and island seating easily accommodated our 10 people. The home needs a good overall cleaning. The walls were dirty and the finish on the dining table needs to be redone. Several of our group felt the beds were uncomfortable and they didn’t rest well. With some investment in mattresses and some paint and cleaning this could be a great rental property. The management company did send someone to clean the areas that we found dirty the night of our arrival and we were pleased with the quick response. Overall we enjoyed our stay. We ate most meals in the house, played games at night and gathered around the tv for the NCAA games to cheer on NC State!

Best for the crows nest!

This house has to have one of the tallest crows nests in the neighborhood! It was so beautiful especially at night. Unfortunately the deck is old so we were very cautious with the outside railing. Also the lowest deck was dirty/a little rotted/lots of nails sticking out and there was water leaking from what we came to find out (my husband is handy) the AC spillover tray in the attic. So we had water dripping down all levels of deck the majority of our stay. When we arrived, the deck had not been cleaned so there was food left behind from the previous renters. Would be nice to add an outdoor rug to the outdoor space and add it to the cleaning list! Another POSITIVE was that it was an easy walk to the beach and we loved how quiet it was on the west side. Note about the canal: with low tide there is no water and high tide it’s still not very deep, plus it’s barnacle and black muck so you cannot use the canal much. We did kayak which was lovely! Until I got stock in low tide which was my fault completely. The house was a good size for our group. Minimum required bedrooms for two families and max amount of space to hang for two families! We were all comfortable. All in in all this house fit our needs and we didn’t spend much time in it. We probably won’t come back unless the outdoor space was updated!

Favorite week of the year

We love Ocean Isle and have been going for 33 years. We love the set up and location of the property. Lots of room and different decks to go to. It could have been a little cleaner but other than that, we absolutely loved it! Rob was fantastic and very fast with any questions I had. Thanks so much!!

Nice location and beach home

An easy walk to the beach even with young children. It was nice that there was a wagon at the house to use. Kitchen could have used a cookie sheet or larger sheet pan with edges. Need sharper knives. Overall a pleasant stay and would rent again.

Rob Saved our trip

We had reservations at the mountains, but with a large snow storm (14" of snow and -7 degree weather) we contacted Rob and in less than 24hrs he allowed us to reserve with him and accommodated our plans! He was quick to reply and very easy to work with! The house was so nice and very peaceful! We so enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this property!

A home away from home

The Latitude Adjustment gave my family a true respite from the daily grind of 9-5. We loved the beach house on the canal. The views were breathtaking. My brother told me to keep this house on the list of favorites. I hope to get back next year.

Great place to visit.

This was our first time visiting OIB and was the perfect location! Quick walk to the beach, Plenty of room for our family with amazing sunrise & sunset views from the deck. Check in was delayed due to the cleaning crew running behind and we could tell they rushed. Property manager responded quickly to our needs which was awesome. Overall great stay and nice place I would definitely recommend and visit again.

Great place!

Loved the house! Check in was at 4 & we got to ocean isle early so we we’re dying to get in the house but the person cleaning the house didn’t finish cleaning until 4:15 & left dishes in the dishwasher for us to put away, 15 minutes doesn’t seem like much but when you have 5 kids ready to go in it seems like forever. We were a little disappointed that not all of the bedrooms had TV’s & there wasn’t much lighting in the kitchen but those were really the only negatives. The kayaks were so much fun & the AC stayed cool which is almost impossible to have at the beach. We would definitely stay here again.
