“We greatly enjoyed our time at the Doctor's Cottage. The quaint and clean retreat is located in an idyllic spot for a relaxing time away from everyday stress. The lake lives up to it's name. The depth around the dock is just right for wading, playing, or jumping into a kayak. Our host communicated clearly and quickly, displaying a sincere desire for a pleasant stay.”

“Excellent property and location. Everything in the description was spot on. Peaceful and quiet. Would highly recommend this property. ”

“The location was good for our tour of Hillsdale College. Hadn't been to Michigan before and the countryside is beautiful. I wish the trip could have been later in the Fall when the colors come out because that would be awesome. Very nice place to get away and relax. ”

“Easy check-in and check-out. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Very clean. Golf cart was very helpful with taking our elderly mother down to the lake to watch us kayak and paddleboard. Hot tub was Great!!”

“My family and I definitely enjoyed our long weekend vacation at the lake. The property was clean and well stocked with most everything we needed. The owner was very quick to respond to questions and easy to communicate with. We loved that a fire pit was made available for the stay and the use of the kayaks. ”

We especially loved the location of this property. It was located off the main road but had waterfront views and grass for the kids to play. “Everything was just as it's listed. This was a nice place to stay at for the weekend. I can agree with another review the shower head is low for a taller person. But other then that it this place way amazing clean, had everything you would need. The location is perfect.”

“Overall, our stay was "Outstanding"! Greg went over and above to make us feel like we were at home! Best place I have stayed in about (5) years. Everything needed is in the cottage, and I mean everything. I cannot say enough! The lake view is deluxe 360 panoramic. Location, location, location, need I say more!”

“It was everything I expected and more. Andy was amazing with communication and the cottage was all set up and ready to go!! Not only is the cottage beautiful but the whole Lake is too and everyone here is very friendly!! We will be back next year for sure!! ”

“The property was very clean, small but perfect for two adults. I would suggest a railing on the back stairway, as we both walk with a walker or cane and it was difficult to get up and down the steps.”
