Overall our trip was good there are just a few things that could be improved.First the stove is not in working order and it was very difficult to cook a full family meal on. Second, there was no dishwasher detergent so I ended up washing by hand. Third,, the recycling situation is a pain. Lastly, the amount of dog poop that is in the backyard space left by previous tenants is gross. I wish that was checked prior to us staying there. I cleaned up after my brothers dog but clearly the prior people did not.Other than that, I feel like the owners take really good care of the property and the house is super cute! I’d stay there again! When we first got there, I couldn’t figure out how to get the door to open(user error) Amy answered my call immediately and walked me through it. She’s awesome!!

Convenient location, responsive host

The place is cute and comfortable. Very nice to be able to walk to the beach. Kitchen is functional, but we couldn't find a proper cheese grater. The home feels lived in and wasn't as clean as one usually expects a rental- grease on pans, mold in windows, bathrooms not really clean... We were all sneezing a lot. The kids loved the basketball hoop and the hot tub! Overall a safe, decent beach stay.

Very nice house. Perfect for our family group. This rental is the best stocked of ANY VRBO we've ever stayed in and we have stayed in them all over the world. The kitchen had everything you could want x 10. This might be on me for not reading the description of the yard correctly, but there was no usable yard. The lead line went through a jungle of weeds and i didnt want my dogs in it. There could have been burrs or stickers. That was disappointing but we all survived. The place is on the main road. Busy street and noisy. You only heard it when the windows were open. We kept a tight leash on the dogs and the toddlers. The beach is close. A hike over a dune in and out. I recommend McPhillips beach which is before you come into town from the north. Easy access and you can actually drive your car onto the beach. Not crowded at all. Best food: Greatful Bread Bakery (scones yum), and the Thai place next to the hardware store. Soooo good. All in all a great place to rent, space to spread out and all the comforts of home. Thanks Amy.

Great Find - Hot Tub was a PLUS!

This property was close to everything, clean, and had plenty of room. The hot tub was perfect and the Xbox was a nice surprise for the kids.

We absolutely love the house. Came here for the weekend with friends to celebrate my 55th birthday. The house had the perfect layout and had everything that we needed. It was also very clean. Our favorite was the decor in the house. It is super cute. Would definitely stay again.

Everything you need!!!

Place is right on the main road of pacific city and within walking distance to everything you need. The kitchen has EVERYTHING. Very well minted interior with all the amenities you need for a family stay.

Perfect family getaway

This is the second year in a row that we have stayed in this home. It has become one of our favorite beach house rentals. The owners have take great care to fully stock the house, from towels to kitchen supplies, they have everything you could possibly need. The open layout in the kitchen and living room allow everyone to hang out together, or retreat to their own bedrooms, whatever works for you. The house provides easy access to the beach, a lovely hot tub to enjoy after a cold plunge in the ocean, an easy walking path to town. We also enjoyed easy walks to the chocolate/ice cream store, the guy with the fresh fish right next to the library, the farmer's market, Nestucca River House restaraunt, etc. The owners were quick and responsive when I had a question or two. The only negative is that the road noise is loud in the morning, but that downside is outweighed by the sheer number of things that we loved about the home. I will always recommend this place!

Wonderful house with all the things including great cooking set-up, some basic cooking supplies and comfortable rooms. Even provided earplugs given proximity to main road! Lovely house and very welcoming.

The property was well equipped with everything we needed. Very convenient for what our plans were for the 3 days. Traffic noise throughout the stay was just a little noisy. Overall a wonderful property.

Excellent

I couldn’t believe how clean and fresh everything was considering this is a pet friendly property. Everything was pristine and well equipped. I would suggest a large pot( we brought our own fortunately) for making clam chowder or a big pot of soup for those stormy days. Highly recommend. We look forward to staying there again. Great location. No yard, but the beach is so close for the dogs to get in their exercise.

Beach Time

It was just what our family needed. It was nice and clean and had everything and more in terms of kitchen, games and toys, great hot tub, beds & linens. We loved how close it was to the beach and we could walk to restaurants and some fun shops. We would rent it again.

The house and Pacific City were both perfect for us!

The house was very clean and comfortable! The location for us was perfect! We only used the upstairs, so we can’t speak for the other beds, but the upstairs bed was extremely comfortable! There is street noise during the day and evening, but it quieted down by the time we were heading to bed. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. All questions were answered quickly and thoroughly! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this rental and we will not hesitate to stay again!

My sister and family have been coming to Oregon every summer to join us at various beach homes. This has been a tradition for 20 years. I think this beach house has been our favorite place so far. Some beach homes feel like random furniture is just thrown in to fulfill a checklist to cover the necessities. With this home, you can tell the owners spent time curating the space. The furniture and layout feels like it was crafted for comfort and relaxation. There were plenty of supplies in the kitchen, the beds were comfortable, the hot tub in the back of the house feels like the ultimate private retreat, there is a local candy shop and also a place to pick up some fresh fish of the day within walking distance, and everything was clean. We also appreciated that the beach was easily accessed from the house and was far less crowded than the main part of the beach in town. The only con to this home was the road in front can be noisy at times. We just slept with earplugs. All of the benefits of this home far outweigh the one negative. I would stay here again anytime! It was a beautiful retreat.

Great Stay

Property was really nice. The kitchen was so well stocked with all supplies. The beds were so comfortable, sheets were very soft. So many toys for kids to play with. Great deck to relax. Easy walking distance to beach. Beautiful beach close to sand dune. Town was very charming with cute shops. Great for families.

Nice space, beautifully decorated. The house is right across the street from the Nestucca river and 2 blocks from beach access. However, the road out front was the way to Cape Kiwanda, so we had traffic noise the entire stay.

Could have stayed a lot longer

I was so comfortable staying at this house it was like home away from home, truly. I love the Pacific City area and this home is right in the middle of all the town has to offer. I'll be back as soon as possible to hit the beach, hike the dune and enjoy the ocean.

Cozy, stylish home

This place was great, super cozy, and had plenty of room for two families of three to hang out and cook meals together for three days. The place is decorated nicely and feels very welcoming. We had everything we needed and would stay there again if we return to PC.
