“The rooms have been very recently refurbished and the room was clean and well designed. It had only just been renovated and a nail was protruding from under the carpet which I managed to walk on and gashed my foot. Told the manager whilst eating dinner downstairs in the pub. He thanked me for alerting home to the fact. He went to our room with a hammer to remove the danger. Thought it might have been a nice gesture to have said can I get you two a drink on the house.
