Gran Hotel señorial
En general muy buena, especialmente de Front Desk, Alida, excepcional, hablaba español y se esmeró literalmente en hacernos pasar una estancia agradable. El hotel es muy bonito con decoración señorial, aunque un poco antiguo. El cuarto inicial que nos dieron no era lo que esperábamos pero Habib un defecto importante en la limpieza y el internet, lo mencionamos a Alida y en menos de 10 minutos nos cambiaron de habitación a otra mucho mejor, con más luz y con un internet muy bueno. El estacionamiento es muy caro, 26 euros y no lo menciona claramente la página. El desayuno extraordinario. Muy recomendable.

Hotel fue 5 y apenas 4 con desayuno flojo
Hotel muy centrico y bien conservado.Desayuno y otros detalles por debajo de 4 estrellas siendo q se vende como 5 w seguramente lo fue hace mucho. El personal de recepcion es muy amable y servicial. Se nota q pierde plata y ahorra lo q puede.

Es un hotel clásico bonito en un palacete antiguo
Situación del hotel excelente en el centro de Palermo. Atención extraordinaria del personal en la recepción. En Italia en general en comparación con hoteles españoles en número de estrellas corresponde a uno menos en España, por lo tanto se consideraría 4 estrellas en España. El hotel en sí y las habitaciones son de estilo clasico, la entrada, las escaleras y los pasillos muy bonitos y las habitaciones parecen habitaciones de un palacete antiguo (personalmente suelo ir a hoteles modernos que no tienen nada que ver). Las habitaciones son limpias y el aire funciona sin problemas (ajustable y sin ruido). El hotel no tiene parking (tiene un servicio de parking que te lo lleven y tienes que avisar media hora antes si quieres "recuperar" tu coche). Como se suele hacer muchas excursiones durante el día aparcar por la noche cerca del hotel no es un problema, hay que sacar tickets en un estanque de tabaco para ponerlos a partir de las nueve de la mañana.

AMABILIDAD Y EFICACIA
El hotel es muy bonito, con un estilo clasico y las habitaciones enormes y limpias. El baño tambien es grande aunque solo tiene ducha, no bañera. El desayuno correcto, eso si, te preparan un capuchino delicioso. Lo mejor del hotel sin duda es Roberto, está en la recepción. Olvidamos las chaquetas con documentación en el autobus viniendo del aeropuerto y, pese a no hablar español (en el hotel no lo hablaba nadie), nos gestionó su recuperación y nos salvó las vacaciones, un encanto de hombre, superamable y tremendamente eficiente.

Excellent hôtel, calme et central. Tout est à distance de marche, dans un rayon maximum de 20 à 30 minutes. Excellent et copieux buffet de petit-déjeuner. Le service à la réception est attentif, de bon conseil et prévenant : cela facilite beaucoup le séjour. Il y a un très grand choix de restaurants dans le quartier, tous à prix moyen et de très bonne qualité. Établissement à recommander pour le très bon rapport qualité prix des prestations.

Grand Hotel Wagner is a gem in Palermo. Magnificent, historical and well preserved. It is conveniently located on a quiet street near city center. Our room was super clean, marble bathroom, daily service. We absolutely loved staying in this beautifully kept and historic hotel. Many, many thanks to the reception and management team; Alida, Roberto and Wim , for their recommendations and making our stay a wonderful experience. I highly recommend staying at Grand Hotel Wagner.

Nice hotel, but too many hassles.
I had some problems in this hotel. First of all, the Wi-Fi was worthless. Whether I was in my room, in the lobby, or in the breakfast room, it was either painfully slow or didn’t work at all. Also, I had paid for cellular service on my phone, and it just didn’t work anywhere within the confines of the hotel. As soon as I stepped outside, it worked. Another in my party had a different cellular service and had the exact same problem. Lastly, I’ve stayed in a dozen cities in Italy including two others in Sicily, and I’ve never had a problem plugging in my universal adapter. Here I did, as my room had nothing but 3 round prong outlets. I have never needed a different adapter in Italy. I do give the staff credit because, even though it took a while, they located an adapter that fit and loaned it to me. The breakfast was good, the staff helpful, but there were too many hassles for me to ever stay here again.

We are sorry you had some issues in our hotel, but about the cellular networks it is strange, all the operators are covered in our hotel, like our WiFi connection too, all rooms have their own network in order to guarantee the best connection. In the hotel we have adaptors available for our guests in case they don't have one. Hopefully you will come back to our hotel in order to change your opinion.Kind regards

Property was beautiful and perfectly situated in the heart of Palermo. Parking is a nightmare but that's true everywhere in this city. They have valet parking but it takes 20-30 minutes to get your car when u need it.

The staff was incredible, attentive, friendly and accommodating. The first night of our stay, the ceiling was leaking near the washroom due to the air conditioner, the very next morning they moved us to a different room. The following day, my husband, myself and another couple took the train to Cefalu, we enjoyed a fantastic day there (recommend you visit Cefalu as week, very cute town), throughout the day we could smell smoke but not sure exactly what was going on, when it was time to leave we could see forest fires, we headed to catch our train but unknown to us, no trains were leaving Cefalu. We were stuck at the train station for approximately 3 1/2hrs, we called the hotel and they sent a driver for us (we had to pay, however it was well worth our safety), thank you Hotel Grand Wagner for your quick response and our safety, forever grateful. All the staff we encountered were professional and polite.

The hotel is very well located and the welcome at the reception was very kind. The hotel does not have its own parking garage but a valet / parking service with a Dropbox/pick up service (at your own costs). Rooms were very clean and quiet. In general we had a great stay, but the only thing we missed, was the attention at the breakfast were we needed to go behind the service to place our order for coffee. Also at the bar on the evening before, I was surprised that a rather standard cocktail (Piña Colada) was not possible to prepare and we got a friendly comment to chose another one from the card. Neither is there any possibility to eat something in the bar (only roomservice), not even little snacks were served with the drinks. Still, a good place to stay for a visit of Palermo

Very friendly staff! Average hotel. Certainly not 5 star but good bang for your buck. Asked for an iron to be sent to the room and not even 5 minutes later got a call asking if we were done because another guest needed it.

Fabulous center to everything hotel!
Excellent location with an old school way of providing comfort to the weary travel. Service was superior and amazing food for breakfast with local Sicilian dishes as well as US favorites such as eggs and bacon.
