  • Pelican patiently waits for some fish scraps from the user of a man cleaning his fish. There are 2 piers in Panama and both cost $3 to walk them. The one closest to Pier Park is further out into the Gulf so it's more worth it if you can only do 1 pier. They do stamp your hand so you can go on and off it all day. On the pier a lot of people fish so watch for them hooks. From what I was told to fish in Florida you need a salt water and a fresh water licence in order to fish in the different waters. There are also signs posted on the pier about how to handle a situation if sea turtles get caught.

As bird flies

700 yards to beach as a bird flies, otherwise 1 1/2 mile walk through a maze. Isolated location, complicated ins and outs. Have stayed in this complex before and was not misled about condo location on previous visits. No linens in downstairs half bath and no linens for sleeper chair in living room. Condo itself was good. Heat was on when we arrived June 6th.

Great on the inside but horrific on the outside

The overall condo/townhome was great but the next door neighbor attempted to have my daughters vehicle towed because it was dark outside of the unit which made it hard to see the parking numbers in the ground and she accidentally parked in one of his parking spots. He saw her parking there and didn’t advise her that she was in the wrong spot and called to have her vehicle towed. Luckily my other daughter was staying in another unit, she ran over and spoke with the tow truck driver. He agreed to release my younger daughter’s vehicle if we pay 80 dollars so we did. I arrived over around 1am that morning, it was dark in front of the unit but I made sure that I parked in the correct spot after the encounter my daughter had with the owner in unit 218. There were no more issues with the next store neighbor or at least I thought. We went out on the departure morning, the neighbor was sitting in front of his unit. When he realized that we were about to pack up the car to leave, he went back in his unit. We packed up our cars, headed to gas up and that’s when we realized that my daughters vehicle which we just purchased her a brand new 2024 off the lot almost a month ago, no scratches on it had been keyed. Not only her vehicle but my vehicle had been keyed as well. I reached out to Real Joy Property to inquire about whether there were cameras on the property but no one has responded to any of my voicemails. I have never encountered any issues like this while vacationing. HORRIBLE!

Gulf Highlands

Everything about our stay at this Gulf Highlands was positive. The condo was in a good location, the home was adequately stocked for our needs, and we had no difficulties getting to or from the condo. The people in the community were friendly, and we enjoyed chatting with them. It was also a good place to walk daily, which was one of our goals.

Awesome location

This was an awesome property. Close to pools and 11 to choose from. The house had a great set up and had everything we needed for our stay. The complex is huge. House was very clean.

Family vacation

This is our second time to stay at gulf highlands. Last year we stayed on Lisa Marie lane and loved it as well. When I saw the listing for this one in the same neighborhood, I immediately booked it knowing that it would be safe and a great place to stay. This is a gated community so it makes you feel comfortable knowing you are going back to your house with ease. Personally we haven’t rented a golf cart, but If you have children or a lot of things to bring to the beach, then this would be a great thing to do since the walk is about 10-15 minutes from the beach access gate. The pools were also clean as well as all facilities around the complex. Overall, we had a great time and plan to visit again next year! ❣️

Great place

Great place to stay. Very spacious. The double shower was amazing. The only issue we had was the floors werent as clean as they should be for the cost of the cleaning fees. My daughters feet were black in a matter of 30secs of being in her walker, even though it looked cleaner than it was. Other than that we enjoyed our time at this place.

Great Place

Overall this was a great place to stay. Only issues we had were the floors were super dirty, I’m assuming from previous people who stayed visiting the beach, and the washer wouldn’t work, but the company sent someone right out to fix the washer. Overall great location and very quiet.

This was a great location. Very convenient to everything. Really liked that property had 2 parking spaces. A lot of room in the unit! My favorite was the shower in the Master Bathroom. Thanks for a great stay!

Panama City beach condo

Great location and very clean property. Loved the shower in the master. Bed in the other bedroom was problematic as frame did not support the mattress. Couldn’t get internet to work then lost cable.
