May Weekend Trip

We had an incredible time at this beautiful home. Everything is spotless and everyone was very comfortable. The water is just steps away and you can't beat the location. We will definitely be coming back and would recommend this place to everyone!

Excellent and well maintained property

Excellent property, 2nd time staying in the community -we love everything about the community and this property was very well maintained and in good working order. Excellent for family of 4, with both sets of in-laws for the week.

Our family has been coming to the beach for over 30 years. We love staying right on the beach. This house is perfect for our growing family. It’s large enough to accommodate us all!

Annual Labor Day vacation with family is always a success when using VRBO, Are We there Yet home was Exactly what we needed! Just steps away from the Sand & Beach, woke up to a beautiful view & got to enjoy our coffee on the home balcony right outside our bedroom! Home was fully equipped and we cooked daily. We also loved that the home was on a private property & kept the beach very clean and secluded from tourist.

Peaceful week

We have always enjoyed Are we there yet but with the updates, like the bedding and refrigerator. But no DVD player, no local channels that we could find so we got into Netflix. Overall much better than our last stay there.

This was our 3rd time vacationing in the Carillon community and this was the best beach house. It had everything we needed to sleep everyone comfortably and the extra W/D in the apartment was an added bonus! We enjoyed making meals at the house and playing games at the beach while watching the sunset. Having our own boardwalk to the beach made it easy to go back and forth and the house had some added beach items like beach towels, small cooler, left over boogie boards, sand toys. Everyone said it was the best beach trip ever!!!

Greatest property we have stayed in!!

What a great venue. The listing for: Are You There Yet was right and the property condition on arrival was exceptional. The amenities are all there and your every need is taken care. We even has charcoal provided for our family cookouts. This was a first in our forty years of staying on the Emerald Coast. The property manager ,Karen Sandels is exceptional and she insures you have a trouble free vacation in a beautiful five star property. My hat to Karen for providing my family a great trouble free vacation. Our family of twelve fit in very comfortably and i did not hear one complaint during our stay. We will stay at this property on our return to this beautiful area and recommend to any and all to do the same when the visit the pristine beachs of the Emeral Coast,

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: In general everything worked. As my granddaughter put it when she first walked in the house is in “vintage” condition. Exterior is very weather worn. The stucco needs serious maintenance. The hurricane shutters have rusted thru their housings. The boardwalk is very “splintery”. No bare feet!!

Always Great House

Karen was great to work with. We’ve stayed here 8 or 9 times in past 15 years and love the house and layout. We normally have at least 2 of our children so it’s very roomy. They have fixed the beach chair setups but for 3 days our chairs were 150’ from our house. We ask the beach service guys to resolve it and they did 3 days later. But this is a new group now so they’re getting it figured out. This has little to do with Are We There Yet but The other thing, you can’t check in until 4pm and it’s been that way for several years now but check out keeps moving up and now it’s 9 am. Just be aware of the fine print 😕 As for the property, the owners have made some updates and I’m sure they’re working on some more. It’s still one of my favorite homes to stay in. Also know another big house is going up next door between the house and Walk-over. Didn’t bother us but it surprised us.

The Perfect Family Vacation House

For those who prefer not to eat out, one of the best equipped kitchens anywhere, including a brand new Weber gas grill downstairs. The cottage provides a quiet space apart from the morning or late evening hustle and bustle. Easy access to the beach and community pool, too. Despite very warm June temps, the A/C system keeps everyone cool and comfortable.
