Location was phenomenal. Property management was responsive to two issues regarding key cards not working at the beach and parking location. The property shares a courtyard with a six room condo next door- this is the equivalent of a guest house. The garage has the washer and dryer but no space to navigate with cars in the garages. Parking is on rocks outside the courtyard. The patio furniture is caked in green and pollen and needs to be cleaned. The tiles in the tub have black mold on several tiles and need a major scrubbing. The shower faucet is weak on pressure and the temp gauge doesn’t reflect actual water temps. The toaster required two sequences to work. Courtyard gates and handles are in disrepair. Door handles and hinges are squeaky. The management company could benefit from a preventative maintenance checklist used by hotels on a monthly basis to identify areas of attention before the guests experience problems. We loved being so close to the beach for drink refills and bathrooms. Clutch.

We loved the screened in porch! Our kids enjoyed staying up in the loft and having their own space. Great location with a short walk to the beach and a little park for kids in a quiet area. We already knew where this one was located because we had stayed previously at another carriage house nearby and location was main reason for booking. Best host we have had in our experience. Customer service was great. They are respond very quickly should you need anything. Would recommend.

Steps to the Beach

Great location! Just 5 mins or less to the beach! Good working kitchen but bed is small. Listed as a Queen bed, but felt more like a Full. Bathroom sink is also too small and low for adults.

Needs a Deep Cleaning

First of all the 30A management company is excellent at responding to guests inquiries and needs. They get an A+ for customer service. Whomever owns or is responsible for cleaning this unit gets a D-. I would not associate the word luxury with this rental. It needs to be DEEP cleaned. Within 30 minutes of arriving our feet were black from the dirty floors and rugs. The bathroom shower has black mold growing in the tile grout. When we arrived there was dog pee on the rug and skirt of the couch. Size wise this place is tiny and cramped, not worth the price we paid to rent it.

Fantastic Stay!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: After years of escaping to Rosemary/Alys, this was our first VRBO rental experience in the area, and it was a nice one at that. Brighton was ready earlier than expected. Check-in/-out was a breeze. This home is in such close proximity to everything we wanted... the beach (only a short walking distance away), town square shopping and dining in Rosemary, a short bicycle ride (bikes provided) to Alys. Our Frenchie was warmly accommodated as well, and enjoyed the screened-in porch after his evening fun on the beach. My only critique is that they either fix the lighting or install new bulbs in the previously mentioned obscured exterior stairwell. Fortunately, we used our phone flashlights to guide us. The off-street parking is tight; for reference, I have a current model A7 and we had to turn the mirrors in to back into the space comfortably. These things are minor considering what a fantastic space this was! We would definitely book again.

Cozy & Prefect Retreat

I had the best time staying at this perfect hideaway. Just steps away from the beach, the pool, and the charming village of Rosemary. It was the perfect getaway for a weekend retreat & we will be back again. Felt like home!

I felt like the website didn’t correctly represent the state of the house.

it was dirty, and your could see mold in the shower The pillow were hard old foam and spelt bad. beds were filled w sand and crums.

Location is great and of course Rosemary is wonderful.

Enjoyed the property, love the architecture. Space was comfortable and the outside space very nice. We would come back but only if the bathroom is updated. The issue we had was the bathroom was very out of date. / shower glass removed from frame and a curtain rigged over the frame. Dangerous getting in out out. / shower light bulb hangs and is not waterproof and would not meet code in any state in the US. Also dangerous. / exhaust fan just a hollow hole in the ceiling / lighting inadequate and the makeup mirror that would have helped with that is broken and appears to have been for some time. / tile in corners at window appear either dirty or growing mold and mildew / step light out and first step from parking higher than code and dangerous. The light would help that at night. / the “9” of the two number address is on the ground in front of the right hand garage door. / because of the value of of our auto I require that off road parking be available. This property advertised that it was. The problem is the space is so narrow as to be almost completely unusable. We have a small sports car and it took 5 minutes or so to park the car each time without hitting the gates which have been hit many times.

Perfect Location

One of the best locations in 30A - You are footsteps away from the beach, pool, walking trails, and dining. We had a great visit to 30A for Fall Break. We did the beach chair rental and found the service to be very convenient for relaxing days at the beach.

All great!

The place was just as described and photographed. The location was ideal for a 2 minute walk to a few of the beach access points. The downtown area was a short walk as well. The kitchen had all we needed to make a quick meal. I highly recommend this place. All instructions were clearly communicated. No problems whatsoever.
