I would sum this place up as basic. The location is great, though this house is towards the back of the neighborhood so be prepared to do lots of walking. The wraparound porch and balcony was definitely a highlight and we enjoyed breakfast outside every morning. The kitchen has the essentials but little more. Overall the house was a little cramped and smaller than I had thought. The place is managed by a company, which mean very quick and thorough responses when I would reach out. The downside, to me, was the place was kinda soulless, but this is just my personal take. Everything from your dish sponge to your paper towels to your soap is wrapped in plastic with the company logo plastered everywhere. It gives it more of the hotel feel than staying in someone's beach house. This is just personal preference though. I will say they were skimpy on the toilet paper and dishwasher tablets given we stayed for a week, but this seems to be common these days. The beds we're comfortable. The pillows were not. The sheets were cheap polyester blend that didn't quite fit over the mattress so it would pop off the corners and ride up at night. Finally, the whole free tickets things was a little confusing and disappointing. It was a big draw for us but we ended up not using them. For one thing, the dolphin boat rides are all the way in Destin. We have two little boys so there wasn't a lot that would make sense to try to do with them.

Great house, poor property management- terrible friction trying to access the unit getting clear instructions - the emails weren't helpful with senseless paragraphs of disclaimers and jargon instructions. The owners HOA should dump this management co. The arrival check in is strangely at the pool with absolutely no place to park while executing the check in process. I would def get a new person to answer the phones where several calls into her, she seemed bothered and challenged to find the booking while the ladies at the pool couldn't find the VRBO listing. House was great. Sad to say all this, but you sent 5 emails about feedback, so here it is. It pains me even say this because our family had a nice time.

Very Clean and Great Location

This house was perfect for us ( 4 adults and 2 kids 2 and under). The beds were really comfortable! The location was perfect! We really enjoyed the pool as there was plenty of seating and family friendly. We would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend!

Great fall break

This my son’s favorite neighborhood for a beach trip. The beach shuttle and amenities at The Village made everything so convenient. And the house was spacious and comfortable.

Amazing stay!

The house exceeded expectation! The only difficult part was knowing how to register and where to go get pool and beach bracelets. There could be a little more instruction once getting there but the property manager was quick to reply and the house and neighborhood are amazing and beautiful!

Great Spring Break Vacation

Pilot House exceeded our expectations! The house was the perfect size for our spring break crew. The kitchen is very clean and one of the best equipped I have ever experienced in a rental. All the dishes, bowls, glasses, pots, pans, etc were brand new and clean. It was truly a gift to have everything we needed. The bathrooms have been updated and are clean and beautiful. The beds were comfortable with nice linens. I would 100% stay here again. Close to the pool, and there is a tram stop right outside the front door.

Relaxing stay at Seacrest Beach

The Pilot house at Seacrest beach was perfect for my husband and my getaway. It is a beautiful home, very nicely decorated and located in a great location. There is very little reason to use your car since everything is so close. So many places to eat, listen to live music or to shop. Absolutely great experience and we felt right at home at the Pilot house. Would rent here again! Janice & Tom (Atlanta)
