We spent two weeks at this property in mid-March and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Our party included four adults and two dogs. The accommodations were just right with each couple having their own king bedroom and bathroom. The fenced in backyard worked well for the dogs. The pool was nice and well maintained but too cold as we opted not to pay to have it heated. There was just a short walk to the beautiful beach and bicycles were provided to get around the local area as car parking tended to be difficult at times. We enjoyed exploring the area and found many nice restaurants and seaside shopping areas. The guys found ample golfing opportunities enough to keep them happy. The property management responded promptly to our questions and went so far as putting out the trash and back on trash pick up days. Overall this was a perfectly sized cottage for our stay and the accommodations very comfortable. We had a great time.

Amenities. Poor internet/tv until fixed. Pool was dirty and pool heater worked first several days before quitting. Kismet 30A was attentive to issues.

We really enjoyed our stay! The location was perfect, close to everything and the neighborhood was absolutely charming. The only minor downside was the pool area; there was quite a bit of debris from the trees, so we cleaned it ourselves, and the outdoor furniture showed some wear.That said, none of it took away from the overall experience. It’s a wonderful place to stay, and we’d happily come back again. Thank you so much for hosting us!

We booked this property to celebrate my wife’s birthday. 30a and Seagrove are wonderful little towns that offer a lot of activities within a few miles. We spent our time walking, riding bikes, lounging at the pool, and of course - going to the beach. The house was clean and perfectly sized for us (6 guests). We had an amazing time and would definitely seek out this home again in future 30a trips.

In all my years renting on VRBO, I've never had such a great experience/trip as this one. Hostsare very proactive with communications before, during and after the stay. The house is exactly as described and was spotless when we arrived. Having the pool was awesome. Everything you'll need for your stay was provided.One really cool thing is prior to check-in they gave me a link to download an app the has everything you need.... check-in info, restaurants in the area, activities, beach info, anything that you need.Definitely a place I'd go back to and would definitely rent from Kismet Properties again!

This house was the perfect beach house for my husband and I and our fur baby! It’s comfy, cozy, and right across the street from the beach! It was spectacularly cleaned upon arrival and the app for all the info on the beach house, beach access, access codes, and things to do was amazing! Will definitely be booking stays here again!

Great house, great location

Two couples stayed in this house for 4 nights. The place was perfect for us and would have been perfect with another couple, too. It is super clean, well equipped, and close to the beach. There are 4 bikes that were awesome. The pool was just right. The beach access was an easy 2 minute bike ride and less than 10 minute walk. We cooked for ourselves all but two meals, so can’t comment too much on restaurants but will highly endorse Buddy’s Seafood Market if you’re interred in preparing fresh seafood at home.

Wonderful Stay

Everything was clean and the property was great. We enjoyed how easy it was to get to everything from the house and was on a very quiet street. Communication was great and we would recommend this house to all of our family and friends. Looking forward to staying here again soon!

Perfect spot to stay with family

We really enjoyed our stay at this sweet cottage! Our children really enjoyed the pool and it felt very private. Easy walk to the beach and quick drive to all activities. Management company was responsive and everything was great. Would definitely book this property again.

Super cute house! Great pool! Nicely decorated. Comfortable beds. Only two lounge chairs by pool was disappointing as we had four adults. Several times around the pool were loose. Also, second bath was really small.

Wonderful Getaway

My family and I spent four days at this property. The check-in process was a breeze and we were even able to check-in early. That was a sweet treat! The house was completely walkable to the access point. We drove down and unloaded the gear and then drove our vehicle back to not have to carry everything. We ended up cooking every night at the house. The kitchen was well stocked with the necessary items. However, the knives were very dull and the non-stick pots were chipping. The pool was also another perk! We loved having a pool and spent many more hours in it after hours at the beach. I would add caution - many of the tiles surrounding the pool need to be re-cemented. Overall, would stay again! Thank you for sharing your home!

Rundown & POORLY maintained

This is a first for me…I travel frequently and never leave a review on property. I read reviews and usually roll my eyes at the one “bad review” lol. So please understand this is not to complain but rather to give you an honest, factual description of our experience. Our family had high hopes for our stay at Serenity Cottage! Location=✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️ Interior Decor=cute! 4 Bikes=great bonus! But thats about it…. Upon arrival we were greeted by large cobwebs and spiders covering the front door & porch. The beds…all 3 mattresses were extremely uncomfortable!! (When you take off the linens at the end of your stay you will visibly see the worn areas) The washing machine makes a loud screeching sound The exterior, the BIGGEST disappointment, is rundown & POORLY maintained!! -weeds growing in the brick pavers around the pool -yard is covered with dry pine straw and weeds-some weeds are over 3 ft tall -numerous loose and broken bricks around the pool (this was a hazard for the kids) -pool was more like a hot tub-scorching hot!! -2 of the 4 lounge chairs were broken -yard was infested with spiders. ants, frogs and even a snake. Some of these things were reported by another client in a review on June 18, 2024 & nothing was done about the issues. I spoke with Cheryl at Kismet Properties to report the issues…someone came to sweep the cobwebs off the front door quickly but nothing else was taken care off. Really expected more and quite disappointed in the house :(

Beautiful Interior Home - outside pool area needs some work

Our stay at the property was nice, with easy access to the beach. The interior of the house was beautiful and very clean. Having your basic spices would have been nice for meal preparation. The pool itself was wonderful and very clean. However, the outside of the pool needs work. When we arrived, there were a ton of weeds all along the concrete and the umbrella stand. There were also a ton of weeds growing under the table and chairs. There were beautiful large pots on each side of the pool. Unfortunately, nothing but weeds were growing out of the pots. We notified the property manager of the weeds upon our arrival. They were responsive and had some come out 48 hours later to clean up all the weeds.

Great Location - Central to everything

This cottage was in a great location - centrally located to Rosemary Beach, Seaside, etc. Bikes were provided - which was great, but we didn't get to use them. We had breakfast and lunch in most days bc we were working from home during the day. Dinners were all out, which was most appropriate due to the lack of cooking (pots and pans). Do not plan on cooking unless you purchase everything needed, including oil/spices/etc. The cottage was so cute and comfy. Great for a small family.
