Girls trip

Clare’s cottage is in the perfect location! We walked into town often, over to Inlet beach, and really enjoyed the private beach access and pool as well. Check in and out was smooth. The cottage was very spacious!

The kitchen was perfect for making meals etc. the pans were actually "good pans" meaning non-stick. Normally when you go on vacation the pans are horrible! Our family had the best time!! Super clean, accommodating, house came with bikes, which we all enjoyed.

Had an amazing stay at Clare’s cottage. The house was even better in person. Great pool area and incredibly convenient access to the beach. Would 100% stay here again.

Perfect home for our family birthday celebration

Reviewer Comments: When you get your kids and grandkids together for a trip t there are lots of needs with babies and sleeping and eating -This was the best location to get to the beach easily and run back to put little ones down for a nap The kitchen was huge We ate most meals in and getting to Publix for groceries was a quick drive-Many reasons to love this property-There was very annoying construction behind us some days until after 5 -I called the manager and I know they did what they could -Loved having bikes too

A wonderful vacation home to bring your family

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Home has a large and very well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed breakfast and the kids then loved jumping into the pool which is right outside the kitchen. The adults could then enjoy their coffee at the table along side the pool. Bedrooms are spacious with lovely bathrooms and beds are very comfortable. In the afternoon it is a two minute walk to the private beach which was fantastic for all families that had younger children. In the evenings you can cook on the grill but we enjoyed the short walk to the restaurants close by. Staff checked in daily to ensure all our needs were met. It is beautiful home and perfect location to beach for families.

Beach Chair Rental Requirement Not Good

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Clare’s Cottage was a perfect place for our family vacation in September. Everything was top notch. Our only complaint is the beach chair situation. After spending over $10,000 to rent the home, we had to spend over $400 to rent their beach chairs. You are not allowed to bring your own, or to rent them on an hourly basis. Also, we were told if you were on the beach, you needed a chair, you couldn’t just lay or sit on your towel. With several people in our group coming and going and a lot of little kids, I felt like $400 was a lot to use the beach. We could have bought several brand new chairs for that price.

Amazing house, beware of check in though!!!

I can't say enough good things about this house, location, size, comfort, outside patio, pool. It has EVERYTHING you would want for an amazing group vacation. I think the best part was the private beach. The public beach was packed, but being in the private beach area made it sooo much better. The house itself is big and beautiful also, and the location is PERFECT, close to everything! I could go on and on, there are so many great things. Perfect for families. We hung out on the covered patio area every night. My only complaints about the house would be that they don't provide beach towels, which is kinda silly. Also, a few things were broken, like the door under the kitchen sink, and the handle of the dishwasher...but I think that's all kind of normal stuff with a rental. The only reason I didn't give this place 5 stars was the check in is HORRENDOUS!!!! We were told 5pm was check in, later than normal because of covid cleaning etc. Well we made plans for a 6:45pm dinner thinking that would give us plenty of time to get in the property and go to dinner. We arrived SUPER early as our flight was early. However, we had planned that we would not be in the house all day. We made plans so we could be busy all day. We had young kids with us we had to really plan well. Towards the end of the day we finally went to the beach expecting to get in the house at 5pm or just after. WEll, they didn't text us until 6PM!!! Could we have been so unlucky that we were the last house cleaned? We didn't even get a courtesy call to let us know it would be so late. I finally did call at 5:30pm and they said they were doing a final inspection and it would be a few more minutes. Well, 30 mins later we finally got the text. If check out is at 9am and you can't get guest in until 6pm I would say, get more cleaning crews, b/c that's just ridiculous. We had such a great time, despite the check in, but it's really awful that check in was 6pm and check out was 9am. I wish they would say check in could be as late at 6pm, set expectations!!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Some say where you stay doesn’t matter in a vacation; it’s just a place to sleep. But where you stay sets the tone for the whole getaway and Clare’s Cottage made our vacation. It’s not only beautiful and comfortable, but is perfectly located. It’s a gated community where you are just steps away from a private beach. Plus you are so close to shops and restaurants, you could walk anywhere. Or, with bikes included with the property, you can cruise and enjoy the sites. Having a private pool was wonderful and it was the perfect size for our family. Our favorite spot was the enclosed patio with part of it covered to still enjoy outside if it was raining or too hot. The only things we noticed that needed maintenance were the large slider in the kitchen that wouldn’t open, a broken lounge chair and some of the string lights in the patio were out and needed to be replaced. We were notified at check in about a cable box issue that the property company had fixed within hours. The property company was fabulous and communicated with us everyday. We would recommend this property highly and hope to stay in it again someday.

Your perfect beach trip starts here!

This home is stunning! The home was very clean. There wasn’t one part in the house that felt dirty (I’m extremely picky when it comes to cleanliness). The beds were very comfortable. My Mom, who has a bad back, was able to fall asleep quickly. The home is beautifully furnished. There’s plenty of necessities in the kitchen and an abundance of toiletries that lasted our big group the whole weekend. We opted to have the pool heated. The temperature was perfect, and you can’t beat a $25 per day charge (most rentals charge $50+!). The beach is so close! It’s literally two houses away from the beginning of the boardwalk. The beach is private to Lounge Vue residents and guests so it’s never busy. The bikes were a nice touch! Our four teens enjoyed them very much and used them all weekend (riding down to Starbucks every morning was thier favorite). We all walked down to Rosemary Beach for some shopping and food. It was a short and pleasant walk. We had a wonderful weekend and will definitely be coming back to Clare’s Cottage!!

Spring Break Perfection

My family rented this property for a week-long spring break getaway. The property is as advertised, with plenty of space for all and several family members were able to work remotely for a few days (no Wi-Fi issues). The location is super, the beach steps away and the kitchen stocked well enough with utensils, small appliances, cook and bakeware to cook for an army! The managing company, 30A Luxury Rentals, were excellent and responded promptly when we had been given the wrong gate code to access the property on Sunday evening. I would absolutely stay here again!

ceiling leak

During the stay, the ceiling leaked and I immediately took pictures and texted to PM and they came and installed fans and dehumidifiers. It was a major ordeal Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. We need a refund for the five days and PM agreed they would. Please let me know when the five days refund will occur. Thank you

We loved the house and location! Walking/biking Distance to seacrest, Rosemary, and alys beach….beautiful, comfortable home with delightful pool…beach access and proximity were worth every penny and made for a relaxing family week!

Seacrest right across the street and Rosemary 2 blocks down. We had a snafoo with check in. I think 5p is way too late, then the cleaning people did not show until 5:30. We were compensated, but after a LONG day of driving, it was not good. The people that rented before us were pigs with small children. Otherwise, the house was really nice. The master shower did not work well and getting repairs done post Covid is difficult. We had 10 people stay there. The 2 queen bed room and bunk room had to share a tiny small bathroom, so we shared bathrooms in the other 2 king bedrooms. All in all, I would recommend this house.

The master shower did not work well and getting repairs done post Covid is difficult. We had 10 people stay there. The 2 queen bed room and bunk room had to share a tiny small bathroom, so we shared bathrooms in the other 2 king bedrooms. All in all, I would recommend this house.
