“Exeter is a lovely town and region of rural Maine for a getaway, and the Exeter Nature Cabins have everything you could need. Debbie and son are great communicators and friendly hosts who are always ready to help. My fiancé and I spent a lovely week at the cabin- with a special shoutout to Yeti the sweet dog next door :) Definitely recommend! ”

“What an amazing place. One hour from Bangor and you’re in the woods with beautiful trees surrounding the cutest log cabin! We built a fire in the fire pit and cooked in a black iron skillet. So peaceful! Loved every minute of our time there. ”

“*This is my second review of this property* Our second time visiting Knotty Pines and it was just as pleasant as the first experience. Clean cabins, quiet neighborhood, beautiful and very relaxing outdoor space. The details are really thought out with these cabins and the whole property. We ended up getting to meet the property owners in person this time. Greg and Christina are very hospitable and attentive hosts. Also just very kind people in general. “This was the second time I’ve stayed here. The first was last summer with my son for an ATV trip and this latest one I was by myself to visit family, friends and to do some snowmobiling. It’s the perfect place for all these activities. Right on the ATV/snowmobile trails and about 25 minutes from Moosehead Lake. The cabin was super clean and well stocked with the basic amenities and much more. Heidi was super responsive to my communications and very accommodating. I would highly recommend staying...

“We did not enjoy our stay at all! We had no idea how far it was off the main road and had to call the property manager and she assured us we were on the right road. We finally found the chain link fence but could not locate the mailbox for the keys. I thought a mailbox would be beside the road. We called the property manager a second time and she did not answer. I finally found the mailbox on the fence behind a branch. We arrived after dark and quickly found out that the end of the right railing...

“This little cabin was perfect for my boyfriend, pup, and me. Had no trouble finding it, and it was right on the lake so we were able to do some ice fishing! Our sled broke down and Brad was nice enough to offer help/borrow tools to fix it! His dogs were adorable. We didn’t want to leave! Highly recommend this spot for a little getaway, we booked it last second and have no regrets. Thanks again Brad!!”
