  • You'll love staying at Hidden Trails Retreat where relaxation is easy in our quiet and peaceful neighborhood. It is a short walk to Rumsey Park where you will find baseball, basketball, pickle ball, and tennis in addition to our hidden hiking/biking trails. We are also in the heart of Payson with great access to a variety of restaurants, bars, entertainment, and everything you need for a great getaway!

Hidden Trails Resort is a spacious home in a great forested location and quiet friendly neighborhood. This clean home provides all the comforts and conveniences of home. We enjoyed the covered front porch and the whimsical backyard. The unique decorations for 4th of July were much appreciated. We are looking forward to stay there again as soon as we can.

The most well equipped house I have yet to stay in! Very clean and organized. Very nice backyard to have a Happy Hour with a friend and play ball with your dog. It's a great location - very was close to parks, shopping and restuarants.Jon the host was very kind and responsive. Great stay for a family as there are lots of activities to do both at the house and in the surrounding neighborhood.Thank you!

Book this place with confidence! I couldn't have asked for a better place to meet the needs of our stay in payson. I highly recommend this place. Communication was rock solid, instructions were very clear and there wasn't any unnecessary to do list upon checkout. I have absolutely zero bad to say. If I find myself in the area again, this will be the first place I look to book.

Property very clean. A ton of entertainment options in the home. Everything provided for a care free stay. Host throughly communicative and made check in and check out process extremely easy. Great place to stay!

A shiny gem in the cool pines! Great amenities and charming pet friendly backyard. Great for morning coffee and watching the Elk walk down the street as the sun comes up. The home clean and very comfortable with more then ample amenities and activities. Close to everything, but still in the pines w quiet forest surroundings. Close to nature walks and trails and 82 acre Rumsey Park!The Hosts, Jon and Sharon were very attentive and accommodating. The welcome basket and a gift for your 4 legged family members a great touch.Number 1 on our list for a repeat visit! 5 Stars.Stanley, Lucy and Dawson (woof)

Very clean home and tons of entertainment options. A park is a very easy walk from the house which was a nice option for some outdoor fun without having to drive. The beds were very comfortable. The den does not have a door so if you need three bedrooms that are private, this might not work for you.

We had amazing experience here! We wanted to come to Payson for a short weekend trip to hike with our dogs and we were not disappointed. We felt very at home here, they go above and beyond with accommodations, and provide many different things that your pups might need! We will definitely be back

The hosts have thought of everything you could need for your get-away! They strive to make you and your pet(s) enjoy your stay. Pets are an additional 50 fee (not refundable) which apparently “fell off” of the listing and came as a surprise. The hosts have said they’ve corrected with VRBO and let us check in a little early as a concession. Other than that, couldn’t have asked for more.

Hidden Trails Verbo was by far the nicest Verbo we’ve stayed at. A nice quiet neighborhood, relaxing home and backyard. It was clean and it was like being at home. The pictures on the website are exactly how the house is, which isn’t always the case. Jon our host always responded to our questions immediately. We also loved how pet friendly it is. The neighbors were nice as well. We highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a place in Payson! We loved everything about it.Dennis & Rhonda

great location. dog friendly with fenced back yard and front porch. local dog park within easy walking distance. close to an Elks lodge. all shopping and restaurants are close by. I enjoy cooking, the lighting in the cook area is dim, needs a little lighting under the cabinets. we have booked the home for the month of August, and I have favorite pot and pans which I will bring. there is plenty cook ware there, but it is dated. again great place, great location, oh did i say we booked in the month of August, that should tell you how much we enjoyed Hidden Trails Retreat!

Amazing property. Comfortable stay all the way around. My only complaint is the knives in the kitchen were a bit dull, so if you plan on cooking most nights like we did it may be nice to get a decent knife. Other than that it was all great. Host was very communicative and laid out the town well in their guest book. Will for sure stay again.

This house definitely feels like a home! Wonderful neighborhood with walking distance to a nice hiking trail, and every little detail was thought of to make the home entertaining and welcoming.

The host provided very helpful information prior to our arrival and responded quickly when we had questions. The home was very clean and the mattresses were very comfortable! They had a terrific coffee/tea station with many options as well as a snack station. The only draw back was the fact that we did not have control of the thermostat and although the host responded quickly to our requests, it was less than ideal. I still would highly recommend staying here!
