“Wonderful place!”

“It was a quick visit (and we had one great weather day and the rest overcast and/or rainy), but were very comfortable at the house. It was impeccably clean and we had a great time out on the water - we used the pontoon, what a huge convenience, and well-maintained. Carmen was very responsive and we had no problems. We forgot our roku stick so were a little limited in what we could watch, but that's on us, and we managed fine. The wifi worked great and there were tons of games for us to play!...

“This place is beautiful & has everything you need. Plenty of room for everyone. It was almost perfect for us. It would be perfect for anyone that doesn't mind a lot of boat traffic. It's on a main stretch of the lake not far from a marina so the traffic was a lot more than we expected. Other than that, we loved it!”

“This house is perfect for every age! We have ages 8-16 and they loved everything from the rooms, the game room, the decks, hot tub, and the private dock! The owners were so easy to connect with when we had questions. We would definitely go back! Also, there is a boat ramp less than a half mile from the property which made it real convenient! ”

“Wonderful place to stay! And Steve, the owner, was so nice and helpful! The views were incredible. We went boating, kayaking, swimming, sat out by a fire in the fire pit at night, went out to eat and to see the Abraham Lincoln / Civil War Museum. On our boat we explored many of the rivers attached to the lake. Sitting out on the deck was so beautiful and peaceful. “Great location right on the water. Very comfortable home with everything you need for a wonderful lake get away. Hot tub, kayaks, paddle boards, great dock. There are a lot of stairs to get down to the water but it is manageable for most people. ”

“Excellent place that has the best location he have stayed in. This was our 6th straight annual trip and the location was superb being at the end of the lake. Very few boats passed thru so it was very safe for the kids to paddle board, kayak, and swim. I have used the owner in the past. She is always great and took care of a broken step to the dock immediately. ”

“We stayed at Southern Comfort 1 for our annual family get together. The house was perfect for our 3 generations of adult couples and singles. The house is three levels, each level with bedrooms, a common area, and a deck overlooking the lake. Two frigs on the top level frig and commercial ice maker on the lower level worked great for a large groups food and drink needs. 3 tables on the top level worked perfect for group meals, games, and cards.
