“Nice hotel, well maintained. Wonderful location as just on riverside. 1 km distance from bentota beach. Only few things are missing, just like... restaurant and swimming pool. For food they arrange from nearby restaurants. But owner is quite helpful, n quite bigger room size and bathrooms. If can adjust with above requirements...then its the best place to live in bentota, its quite chill and silent...so that you can enjoy yourself.”

“We had a wonderful stay at Villa 80. Our room was comfy and Henry, his wife and staff couldn't do enough for us. The tranquil garden was a real haven and the pool was a bonus. We weren't far from excellent beaches and the railway station. A tuktuk was available to run us to wherever we wanted to be whether to the local market or local gardens. And the breakfasts were excellent.”

“The staff was so nice. The room was large, 4 post bed, mini frig, beach and bath towels in room. It was very clean. Balcony was nice with sturdy chairs and table. View was nice over pool. “Stannade där i 3 nätter, bra service från hotell ägaren som var trevlig. Polen fin men vi ville mera vara vid havet. De körde en till stranden gratis med tuktuk vilket var riktigt bra, stranden är fin men det finns så många finare stränder och städer på Sri lanka som jag mer skulle rekommendera att besöka. Helt okej vistelse men skulle inte välja att bo här igen.”

“Unfortunately this place is in desperate need of investment. The kerb appeal is very good but the jetty for example is falling into the river and not as pictured. The room wasn't very clean which is a great pity as the owner is very friendly. The food was lovely, we had both Breakfast and evening meals and could not fault them. It just a great shame that it is not as good as it could be. If the owner makes a investment in his property he could definitely charge more to stay.”
