“The place is great for a retreat. The lodges are spaceful, with air and view, very unique. In addition, I especially enjoyed the service from the Manager Martin: I had told him I was arriving late and couple sandwiches were waiting at my room so that I wouldn't go to bed with an empty stomach. And I asked him to organize for me a fishing party which he did fantastically and for a very reasonable price. I went early morning an hour out from the coast fishing Tuna with good and experienced guys....

“Absolutely beautiful place to spend 5 days. Utterly clean, great food, cold drinks, very very cheap, free kayaks and paddle boards, good shower, friendly dogs, interesting wildlife, really friendly staff, loads of interesting places to sit and lay down in the communal area, can walk quite far out into the Indian ocean when the tide is out and it faces west so the view of the sun setting each evening is spectacular. I'll give it a 14 out of 10!!! ”

“I can’t recommend Clove Island highly enough. The setting is stunning, right on a super quiet beach and so relaxing and zen. The design of the apartments is gorgeous, so much attention to detail, it felt like a serene beach house. The staff are all amazing, the manager really took time to make sure everyone enjoyed their stay, and all of the staff were so friendly and helpful.
