Do Me Good es una de las casas más grandes y espaciosas de Cape Blas. Es la escapada perfecta a la playa para crear recuerdos inolvidables de vacaciones con su familia y amigos.

Con espectaculares playas y la calle. Joe Bay, a solo un minuto a pie de la puerta de tu casa, la vida en Do Me Good es tan fácil y placentera como puede ser. Observe cómo el sol se hunde perezosamente sobre el golfo de México desde las grandes terrazas mientras respira el aire salado mientras siente que sus preocupaciones se alejan con la marea.

Un amplio plano de planta abierto te recibe con un techo de 16 ’y una espectacular chimenea de piedra. Un loft con un tragaluz da a la gran sala. Esta casa está inundada de luz natural desde el amanecer hasta el atardecer!

La espaciosa cocina es lo suficientemente grande como para acomodar a varios cocineros que preparan las comidas familiares, lo que es fácil de hacer con dos hornos, dos refrigeradores (uno en el porche) y mucho espacio de gabinetes y mostradores. Hay muchos asientos en el comedor para que todos coman juntos.

Con 6 dormitorios y 4 1/2 baños, esta casa es ideal para grandes reuniones familiares. Ofrece alojamiento para dormir hasta 15 personas, incluidas dos habitaciones espaciosas con cama King y acceso a terrazas y vistas al Golfo y St. Joe Bay. Hay una tercera habitación tamaño king, una habitación queen con cama individual extra y dos habitaciones con dos camas individuales.

Fuera de la gran sala hay un gran porche cerrado de vidrio con barra para tragos, refrigerador, fregadero y mesa y sillas para cuatro. ¡Siéntese en una de las dos sillas grandes de papas para leer un libro o tomar una siesta! Fuera del porche hay una gran terraza abierta con una mesa para comer al aire libre, o disfrutar del sol y tomar el sol en los muebles del salón.

Las opciones de entretenimiento incluyen televisión por cable gratuita, Internet de alta velocidad, Wi-Fi y servicio telefónico de larga distancia. Transmite sus películas favoritas a la televisión. La mayoría de las habitaciones tienen televisores.

Great house for a large group.

Eleven of us stayed in the house and had an amazing time. Living area is perfect for a big crowd. Short walk to the beach. The only downside was the small bedroom upstairs with two bunk beds was really hot. We ended up not using this room. A quick switch up sleeping arrangements and we were fine. Overall, we were very pleased.

The only disruption was all the vehicles on the beach. We even had someone blow their horn at our grandchildren who were tossing a football around. There was a constant flow of traffic on the beach which really disturbed our relaxing.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Cape was wonderful. We felt like we didn't get the value we expected in the house. The dishwasher was filthy and smelled of rotten shrimp upon our arrival. We pulled the filter and cleaned it, then cleaned the rest of the dishwasher. It was definitely not the way we expected to start our vacation. The oven under the stove didn't work. The control knob on the washing machine was stripped. Ants swarmed in the chimney, and we saw a few roaches upstairs.

Party of 15 staying at Do Me Good 2021

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pros:1. The size of the house accommodated a group of 15 very well.2. Dealing with Coastal Joes employees in the beginning was great. They communicated well.3. The location of the rental was great.4. Plenty of parking.5. The porches are wonderful!!Cons:1. The house could use a deep clean. The air vents were nasty, there was dust covering the tops of the cabinets and dead ants were found around the fireplace.2. Two bedrooms were missing remotes and that problem was not resolved until day 4 of our stay.3. The washing machine was not hooked up correctly and was not fixed until day 4 of our stay.4. The house was advertised with 2 ovens, which was one of the main reasons we chose it. Unfortunately only 1 worked and we were never told it was not functioning. It took an email and 3 phone calls to find out the problem. We were told they were waiting on a part to come in that case we should have been told before arrival so we could be prepared. This was a major disappointment and failure of communication. 5. The water pressure for bathing was poor. Not even enough to rinse soap out of hair. Many times we used the carport water hose to wash our hair. This problem was mentioned to management but never resolved. 6. Communication with management and getting answers after checking in was poor. Overall....for the money we spent, I was disappointed. We still had a great vacation but the multiple issues added frustration. I personally own and rent a small vacation home in PCB. As an owner, I would not let any renter have to deal with that many problems. I would drive 6 hours to handle the situation myself if I couldn’t get someone there quicker. I would do what I could to make it right.

We do have one suggestion for a house that size that 15 people stay for 5 days generates quite a bit of garbage. That house definitely needs 2 trash cans. On Sunday night before we left the bags were over the top and the lid would not close. During the night something got into the garbage and we had to pick up everything that had been scattered Monday morning before we could leave.

Family vacation at “Do Me Good”

Although we didn’t get into the house until 7p.m. due to no one calling us when housekeeping finished, we were very happy with our week at “Do Me Good”. We had a few minor maintenance issues, but they were taken care of promptly. The large kitchen/family room was awesome for our group of 10, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were comfy and the layout was great. It was a short walk to the beautiful beach, but glad we took a cart to carry our beach necessities. I suggest Austalian Gold bronzer to keep bugs at bay. Nothing else seemed to work. I would definitely recommend this house for a quiet getaway. We had a wonderful time! Thank you so much.

There were plenty of dishes and all the appliance worked well. The beach access was a little further than we thought so we definitely got our steps in each day.

Some bedrooms were very, very hot, and the main room was freezing. We had some pretty smart people in the group and we could not get the TV to work. Otherwise, it was positive and we things above remedied, we would stay there again.
