    -Be aware of the UV levels, some days it's dangerous to be in the sun for too long
    -Rip Tide Warnings - the riptide can be worse on some days, so it's important to keep
    watch on this.

We enjoyed our stay at the Sand Blast property and time on the Cape. Our group included four adults and four teenage boys. The pool and game room offered lots of opportunities for the boys to stay occupied, and there was plenty of room for everyone. We could have had one or two more families join us there was so much room. The property was clean overall and it appears they take care to keep things kept up well. We enjoyed the views from the top balcony, which allowed wonderful views in the morning and at night of the gulf. We did experience an issue with the pool heater, but the property manager was very dutiful in getting it addressed and provided outstanding communication the whole time.Note that the living area, kitchen, and dining room are on the top floor, with no elevator. Was no problem for us, but something that some may have more issues with. Makes for outstanding views, but lots of steps. We wished we could have enjoyed a fire in the yard or perhaps on the beach, but there was a burn ban in the county for most of the time we were there.Beach access is a block away, with the property in a really nice location to be able to walk to the beach or cruise up the cape or back into town. The surrounding area is beautiful, Port St. Joe is a very nice little town with lots of options to eat and shop.We enjoyed our time and are hoping to return to the Cape in the future and would have no issues renting this unit or others from the property management company again.

So close to the beach

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My multi generational family enjoyed the accomodations of Sand Blast. It is so close to the beach (very short walk) and has a lovely pool. It has spacious common areas for us to gather all together. The rooms were comfortable (although some were quite bright in the morning light). There is no elevator so keep that in mind if any older or less mobile members of the party because the living room and kitchen are on the 3rd floor with the master and the secondary rooms on the 2nd floor and bunk room on 1st. I got used to the stairs and didn't mind the exercise, but it's worth noting for certain folks. The management was quick to address our concerns. The home was clean and plenty big for our group. We made use of the fire pit and game room with ping pong as well. I was very grateful they provided high chair and packNplay upon request making us feel very welcome as our needs were met.

This was a great place for our whole big family trip. We had a lot of kids under 13, and the space for them was awesome. The downstairs bunk room housed them all and it was a really fun space with bean bags and a little side game room. The garage was equipped with a ping pong table, basketball game, as well as other games that the kids really enjoyed. The walk to the beach was really easy. The kitchen was well stocked, the only thing lacking was a pantry. There was plenty of beach gear as well as loads of beach towels. The fire pit outside was a really nice space for us to have fires at night. Overall - this was a wonderful place for a big family gathering at the beach!
