Great location

We loved the area and the beach house. We brought our dog along and we were thankful dogs were allowed! The outdoor space was wonderful and it was a short walk to the beach. There is only one hall closet upstairs for all 3 rooms. The bunk room gets really warm. Luckily there is a box fan but still stays pretty warm. Starter soaps for the bathrooms would be nice to have but we were thankful for the starter items in the kitchen. I had messaged asking if there was a standard coffee maker with a pot along with the Keurig. I never got a response but found one in the closet when I got there. Overall, we were very happy with this property!

This was such a perfect house for our quiet beach vacation! We loved every second of our week! Very hot beach days, with just a short walk down the boardwalk! This home was super clean and so very well stocked! Beautifully decorated and very well thought out! We would stay here again in a heartbeat! Lizzy is wonderful and answered any questions we had promptly! Thank you so much for allowing us into your home! We made family memories to last a lifetime, which i am eternally grateful for! Best of Times was a perfect beach house! Everything is exactly as described and pictured on the VRBO website. Furnishings, fixtures, and furniture were tastefully done in the beach theme. All you need is your own personal items because everything else is provided. It’s a very cozy, quiet, and relaxing experience whether you’re in the hot tub while looking at the stars, relaxing on a couch, or sleeping peacefully in one of the comfy beds. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay. In fact, it was hard for me to leave on our last day. The owner, Lizzy, was super helpful, kind, and friendly. I highly recommend the Best of Times to anyone who wants an exceptional beach vacation!

Great house, has everything you need, comfortable furnishings and beds. Close to the beach - lengthy boardwalk without rails, fyi. Responsive host. Bunk room stays warm but there is a box fan that helps. The third full bathroom with shower is actually downstairs so having to share a bath with the queen BR might be inconvenient for some. Location is convenient. LOVE a rental that is actually dog friendly - our pups enjoyed staying - suggest getting a kitchen trash can with lid. Overall a great value for the price.

Little slice of heaven!

Kitchen well stocked, beds comfy, couches comfy. Beach was uncrowded and so nice! Especially enjoyed the hot tub, the porch swing and the bunk room for the kids! Don’t miss the entry porch where you can catch sun rise and sunset. Good eats everywhere we stopped at. 3rd trip to the cape and we will definitely be back!

The location is great, the house is super clean and comfortable. Early morning walks sunset bonfires on the beach, and evening soaks in the hot tub under the stars, if you come fully stocked you never have to leave. Quiet, clean and disconnected as much as you want.you wantto be

Quiet dog-friendly beach perfection

Let’s first talk about the deck swing. This swing is where you will spend your morning time sipping coffee.The property is super clean, inside and out.Just off the deck is a nice little grassy area perfect for the pups.This home also has a well-stocked kitchen with everything needed for the chef on your trip.But, if cooking while relaxing isn’t your thing, this home is also within a short drive of Port St. Joe restaurants (and shops).We really enjoyed the quiet community with beach access. The beach was not crowded and is dog-friendly.We were within walking distance of Salinas Park (pickleball, walking trail).The state park is within a short drive in the other direction. It was a nice visit for walking trails (also has kayak rentals, etc).Good communication is a big deal for me, and Lizzy was in contact to ensure we had everything we needed. (Thank you.)Book this home, it will not disappoint.

Best time at Best of Times

You won’t want to leave this wonderful beach home! The hot tub. the covered deck bed swing. The most comfortable sun loungers. And this is just the back deck!! I found my own special places for having morning coffee. Lots of different views and seating options. The home is so clean and comfy too. Then the short boardwalk to the beach and life is complete!!As a bonus you have the sweetest and most efficient hosts ever!!Also the beach chairs were much appreciated!Thanks Tony and Lizzy! We are planning our next trip:)

Great family getaway!

We stayed for a week this summer with our daughter, two nieces, and our pup. The house is very comfortable, cozy and clean and was perfect for our needs. The girls loved the bunk room! The location is great, just a short walk to the beach, and we often felt like we had the beach to ourselves! Wonderful communication from Lizzy--she is a gracious host. We would definitely return!

Great Place

Overall we had a great stay and everything was great. The only thing I would note for correction would be cleanliness and we had one roach run across the stove one night. Besides that everything was great and the host was very easy to talk to and replied very fast.

4th of July week

We love coming to Port st joe this week every year. The first time we have had two kids and it was a blast! Would recommend…walk to beach was great…only wish the community board walk was longer but that’s nothing the owners control on their own. Would highly recommend!

Best Of Times

Wonderful week at this adorable home in Port St Joe! Easy walk to beach and when you returned, a shower where you could rinse off. Great storage area for your beach chairs & umbrellas. The deck has a hot tub that everyone enjoyed. My favorite was the bed swing which was so nice to sit & read or just relax in the evening. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything you may need & the best I've ever seen! Bedrooms were spacious & beds were comfortable. Downtown Port St Joe has very cute shops & several ice cream shops we visited more times than we should have! Lizzy was so easy to work with & we will definitely stay here again! Thanks for a great week & great memories! It was the best of times! Charles & Vickey

1st Trip to Cape San Blas

We loved our stay at this cute beachy home. It was just like the pictures, Well decorated and very clean. The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen out of all the places we have stayed. It’s very well laid out and spacious. We enjoyed the hot-tub every night under the stars. It’s in the perfect quiet location with quick access to the beach.

The best vacation house ever!

This beautiful beach house more than met our expectations! The decor was sedate and calming. The kitchen was well stocked -even the junk drawer did not disappoint! Tony and Lizzy thought of everything! The outdoor porch with bed swing and hot tub was a daily favorite. The beds were so comfy and the linens were perfect! Lizzy was quick to respond to any questions I had. My two grandsons (ages 4 and 15 months) had a wonderful time in the bunk room and loved playing there when they weren't at the beach. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Thanksgiving at the Beach

We had a great time here over Thanksgiving! 2 adults, 4 teens and our dog. Loved the location and being so close to the beach! We walked on the beach but enjoyed the bike path too and drove up the cape for ice cream! Thanks for a quiet getaway!

Beautiful home!

This was our first trip to the cape and it was absolutely wonderful. The house was perfect and beautifully decorated. It is just a short walk to the beach. The beach is in a great spot and not crowded at all. My teen boys loved fishing from the beach. We will definitely visit the Cape again!
