This property was lovely! We had lots of space and the mother-in-law suite was perfect for our older daughter to have some private space. The kitchen was very well stocked with cooking supplies and ingredients! The owners were very kind and responsive and we had a great experience.

Let me start with a positive, Julia was very responsive all throughout the booking process and offered a refunded cleaning fee once I reached out upon arrival.This home has a great layout and so much potential. It is obvious it does not get cleaned properly between stays.I’m never one to leave reviews, especially negative. Normal wear and tear on a rental is expected. The shape of this rental looks nothing like the listing.The home is in desperate need of a DEEP clean. We had hair, food residue and blood in the main master bed. I was having to wash linens our first night. The bathroom had “hairs” in the shower, on the sink and on the toilet paper holder. There was mold and mildew on faucets as well as shower curtains & liners. Food found in couch and the floor underneath the furniture hadn’t been swept, vacuumed or mopped in some time. Everything was dingy, showing black from the dirt build up over time and just made us feel icky.Any wall art, beds, door frames and baseboards were filthy. Lined with dirt and dust.Cockroaches in the shared bathroom.We left the home disappointed and would not return to this property.

A fabulous house... We loved staying and had a great space for our group. Loved having the MIL suite with extra space and a 2nd kitchen. The host was also amazing and so responsive and helpful. All was SO great. We will definitely be back!

Great stay on a little piece of paradise!

We had a great week exploring Port St. Joe! The beach was clean, the ocean was calm, and the house was stocked with everything we needed to have an enjoyable time. We felt right at home & were able to enjoy some relaxation immediately! The golf cart, paddle boards, bikes, beach toys, beach chairs & towels were all fantastic amenities! Thanks to the owners for all the thought put into make our stay a great one!

Fabulous stay!

This house was perfect for our group of nine!Two stocked kitchens, two living spaces and fabulous sleeping accommodations for all of us. This host went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. She was very responsive while on property (there were no problems, just a few questions). The house itself was pristine and it is a part of a lovely community with boardwalks and pathways and a few shops/restaurants. The beach is an easy walk or an easier golf cart or bike ride (all provided). There were enough towels and chairs for all 9 of us! The house is a 5 minute drive to downtown Port St. Joe which has great shops and restaurants. I highly recommend this property and host!

Perfect home near the bay!

We stayed with my parents, brother and his now finance, and our 4 young children. The space was plenty big for us each to branch out. It was very clean and Julia has the home stocked with everything you need for cooking down to an awesome day at the beach. It’s just a short walk to the beach or golf cart ride to the little town where our kids could get ice cream and go swimming in the heated pool. This location wasn’t crowded and really laid back which is more our style. We’d definitely love to come stay again! Our twins are ready to move to Florida after this trip!

Florida family-more feedback with photos

This review should come as no surprise to the property owner, as I was in contact since Day 1 prior to check in (traveling) and upon discovery of the keypad not working for a week long stay with guests. I was offered one (1) key and it was only after my refusal to only have the single key for use by ALL guest for the duration of a week, was the offer made to have other keys made- apparently they only use a local (loyalty to the company as opposed to the convenience of paid guests) instead of having the keys made as soon as possible and available at check in. I made calls and sent text messages ALONG WITH PHOTOS throughout Day 1, in response to several messages regarding my satisfaction, in which I expressed my DISSATISFACTION with the lack of details to cleanliness and upkeep of the property (several listed below). Another issue was the unavailability of the Main Bedroom closet (A MAJOR INCONVENIENCE) for the length of the stay-no consideration for house guests. I have rented many properties, however NEVER EXPERIENCED a time when to main bedroom closet was used a the “owner’s closet!” I did not want to inconvenience my family and elderly guests with relocating to use the other closet-the recommendation is to relocate the “owner’s items to the hall closet, which was already filled with household items (not well organized). I placed my suitcase in bedroom chair that immediately became unstable and the legs pulled away from the chair-the furniture in the entire property is old.

Absolutely Wonderful!

This was our 2nd time staying at this property. As before, Julia was an incredible host. She made sure we had everything we needed before, during and after our stay. This place is wonderful! The house is beautiful, the neighborhood friendly & quiet, and the beach is a short walk or cart ride away. Our family loves all the amenities and our teens especially enjoyed the bikes. It was the perfect vacation.

The Perfect Beach House!

From start to finish everything about this property and host was wonderful! Julia was great to provide all the info we needed to make sure we knew what to expect and helpful tips. The house was bigger than we expected and clean! So much space for the 10 of us and so many extras! From games and beach gear to spices and trash bags!! Both kitchens are stocked! And having 2 refrigerators and coffee makers came in super handy with such a large group. The location of the house was perfect right betweeen mexico beach and Port St Joe. Then a short drive over to Cape San Blas. But we preferred the quiet private beach at Windmark that we could easily get to via bike, golf cart or walking. Ample seating in the house, comfy beds, extra blankets. Literally everything you could need!

Absolutely fantastic

We loved our stay here and the house was fantastic, quiet and lots of room for all of us to sleep and some of us longer than others! We loved being able to use the golf cart and fishing gear! Traveled to many of the area beaches and had a lovely vacation. Julia was a fantastic host, answered questions so quickly and gave us updates about when the pool needed fixing and when it was again available for use. Wonderful spring break!! Thanks again and would love to return!

Girls getaway

This was really the best trip. We did a in honor or mom who passed girls trip. We was able to get away and just relax and unwind and it was perfect. The view, the location the golf cart and home was more then we could have imagined. We ended the trip with a golf cart ride, pool time, and a back yard fire with s’mores …. This may have been the first year but it definitely won’t be the last!!!
