Condo was nicely cleaned upon arrival. Found king size beds very comfortable. Nice dining area with great views of ocean. Nice starter coffee pods provided. Be aware, no ice maker, but ice trays provided. Nice little restaurant and bar on premises with good happy hour prices. The sunset views were amazing! No AC, but open window louvers and sliding door for nice ocean breezes. Must of spotted over 20 whales in 4 days with numerous breaches observed. Beautiful bbq area near private beach. Gorgeous landscaped property. Would definitely stay here again. Loved Princeville area.

Amazing views, clean, and convenient

We lived our stay here! Made dinner here both nights because you can’t get a better view at any restaurant. Saw several whales - it was magical. 10min walk to the beach access path near 1 Hotel Hanalei, and 20min total door to beach (with 2 kids) Comfy beds and renovated bathrooms. It wasn’t too hot while we stayed so the temp control was fine! Will come back again xoxo

The view!!!

We have stayed at the Pali Ke Kua property several times. The units are well maintained, have well equipped kitchens and (usually) have a closet full of beach related items. The views are spectacular!!

The property was excellent and was as anticipated after having stayed there before. Views, location all excellent....However, we found out that the North Shore road past Hanalei was closed due to flooding almost a year ago. Hope sprung eternal that it would reopen shortly but did not. The purpose of going to the North Shore was that region. Had we known, we would have changed plans and headed to the south shore or another island. But that does not change our plans in the future to return, hopefully to the same unit. Reality company was excellent in service and response. In the end, how do you beat those views!

It doesn't get much better

What stunning views, an ideal setting to relax and enjoy the Aloha. Unit 121 was absolutely fine, had everything we needed. We enjoyed the first level and the ability to walk out to the cliffs edge, made friends the the local Nene's that are on the property and seem to be the unofficial greeters. This trip was the first leg of a 25 year anniversary trip and it was excellent. I'm writing this just before checkout, sitting on the lanai, looking at the incredible vista, watching a few surfers down below and just thankful we found this place to spend some time. This is the kind of place you say "We'll be back"

Perfect!

The view from the lanai is absolutely stunning. The view alone is worth whatever you'll pay for your stay. The condo was clean and well equipped. It had everything we needed for the perfect family vacation. The posted photos don't quite capture how beautiful the view is nor how spacious the rooms are.....we were pleasantly surprised. The property has a nice pool and hot tub that we enjoyed several days during our stay. The pizza pub that over looks the pool was nice to have available. We had drinks at the bar one night and enjoyed a couple of pies on our last night. The property also has private access to the beach which includes a picnic area with tables and bbq pits. We highly recommend this condo......reluctantly though....ONLY because we want it available for our next visit to our favorite island.

Fabulous yet cozy Kauai at its best.

Updated nook with perfect location, everything you could need at home, and quick walk/bike to Princeville beach. Convenient to drive around island and most activities. So restful, well decorated, stocked, clean and inviting. Didn’t want to leave!

great location with fabulous views

I picked this condo for its location in Princeville and for its views. It did not disappoint. Although the condo was on the bottom floor (we usually prefer upper floor) we made the right choice as you can simply walk out to the grassy area from the patio and head to a steep pathway that leads to a small hidden beach. Views were spectacular! We also liked this property as there were two king beds which made the unit perfect for us two couples. The unit was clean, fully equipped kitchen and appeared to be renovated. Property managers were great also and responded immediately the few times we contacted them. A great location for walking down to the St Regis for cocktails or to the beach there (we only did cocktails). We will definitely consider renting this unit again if we come back to the Princeville area.

We loved our stay in Kauai. This place, although a little dated on the exterior, was really nice, relatively quiet and super comfortable on the inside. And the view of the ocean out back was amazing!! We saw so many great sunsets while we were here. Would definitely come back and stay here in a heartbeat!!

Best view in Princeville!

I booked this listing for a get away with my parents for my dad's 69th birthday. The price of the condo was extremely competitive as compared to the other properties I viewed. I had never before stayed in Princeville and the complex was conveniently located to access numerous places on the island. I was worried there might not be beach access, but there was a short (but steep) trail from the complex directly to Hideaways Beach, where the snorkeling was excellent. Additionally, this property was not only well-equipped with both kitchen and beach gear, but other passerbys staying in the same complex consistently commented that we had the best view on site! Morning rainbows and evening sunsets were spectacular. I would definitely return.

Nice views.

Great views, noisy condo. Not very private. Looks to me like the units were built late 70's or so, and did not put a lot of sound insulation between units, so if you don't mind neighbor noise, this unit is for you. Warm water at best, no hot water, ran out of toilet paper, smelt musty in master bedroom, and the other bedroom's bed was old and uncomfortable. Good ceiling fans, and the grounds were well kept. 3 star at best, considering the high price paid. Ron S.
