“This property needs better care. If it got that much-needed cleaning and maintenance, it would be just as advertised. One of the bathrooms was closed due to repairs, this was never informed to us in the weeks-long wait we had from the moment we made the reservation until the check in date. The location is exceptional, walking distance from local restaurants, beautiful ocean views, and beautiful neighborhood to walk around and enjoy the historic architecture. The hostess was very responsive and thoughtful. When we arrived the air conditioner was not working in the master bedroom and within hours she had someone there to fix it. “The stay was ok although I made a reservation for one room and they switched me to another. Same happened with another family member. Also it would have been nice to have some complimentary bottled water. The sink was also way too small. So it was a room good enough to sleep in but not necessary one comfortable enough to relax in. ”
