Fatal la verdad, se supone que nos iban a dejar las llaves con el nombre y no dejaron nada. Llamamos a los dueños varias veces y a diferentes números y nada ninguna respuesta. Y como nosotros otros 3 grupos. Y encima mínimo unas 3H esperando.

The check in is at 1 oclock and how did you get the keys finally, the owner was abroad. But it is special from you that you dont read instruction and complain about almost everything. Just read your instruction then everything is fine, what other group was waiting? Dont lie in review and we have never had that terrible review but it explain how you are so please dont travel if you dont how it works, be honest and stop the dramaticLoki

No me gusto la ausencia total de personal. No me gustó que a la hora de entrar (12:00) estuviésemos varias personas esperando y las habitaciones no estuvieran preparadas y hubiera que esperar mucho tiempo a que pudiéramos disponer de ellas.

Hostel muy céntrico, con zona para aparcar justo delante (aunque de pago). Estudio pequeño pero cómodo.

The check-in for this guesthouse was very difficult! The property owner was supposed to email us 2 days before with check in codes and information since there are no staff on site to help. However, they never contacted us, and at the time of check in, I ended up calling, messaging, and texting many times with no response. When the owner finally did respond (hours after check in time began), they gave us the incorrect door code. We had to go through expedia customer service to get the correct information and ended up spending a ton of time on our phones just go get inside out of the cold. The rooms themselves were as expected and the space was cozy, but the check in process made they stay not worth the money.

Best is location a block to a lake with swans and ducks, 4 blocks to Rainbow Street and shopping and restaurants. Negative is parking not as stated and no one was there when they said they would be. You have to figure everything out for yourself.

Great deal for a great location/spacious studios
After reading so many negative reviews, I was afraid that our keys wouldn't be waiting for us or that there would be bed bugs. None of that happened and we loved the place! Just as described in the email, we used the access code to get into the lobby, and our keys were there waiting for us with our names on them. It took us a few minutes to find the doors to our studios, but we found them and they were quite spacious, with 4 twin beds and a kitchen and a bathroom in each studio. It would have been preferable to have someone there to greet us and check us in, but that's probably why the price for these studios was so reasonable. The location is right in the middle of numerous nice restaurants and bars. I highly recommend!

Older rooms and not terribly quiet between rooms but great to have access to a kitchen to make breakfast or lunch. Nice walkable location and bus stop right out front. Overall, pleased with stay.

They cancel the reservation the sane day of the check in snd charged me!!! Expedia and this guesthouse at the Moment stole 185 euro from me and cause ne troubles during My holidays. I will bevervuse expedia in My life and if I come back to Iceland I will not ho in this guesthouse. Now i have ti lise a litbof time to ask for re fun d. I hai ti call ti talk with the not that Ford not understand anything to chat to send email and yes there is no respinse!

I like that it was clean. That our four beds were pretty comfortable and it was in walking distance to a lot of stuff. The parking was confusing I didn't see any free parking anywhere had to park in the street where it was required to pay. But it was pretty safe I wasn't worried about my vehicle.

BED BUGS!!!!! We stayed in room 6. Our child slept on the day bed. My husband and I on the two singles that were next to each other. My child was bit dozens of times in one night! I have contacted the property about this through two different platforms and have not heard back. We inspected our backpacks which were thankfully zipped most of the time and did not pick up any additionally travelers. Nonetheless we paid 25 pounds at our next location to have all of our clothes professionally laundered.

No keys left so not able to check in VERY POOR !!
Arrived at 19:30 on Sat 29/07 but no key left so could not check in tried phoneing the owner but no one answered , another family of 4 and another group of 2 also had no keys so no room for them as well

A nice economy hotel in Old Reykjavik's city center, close to the ocean, and if you don't mind a shared bathroom (one on each floor) and the curiosity of needing to remove your shoes at the entryway. I would stay here again.

Best location in Reykjavík but needs improvements
The guesthouse is very conveniently located in downtown Reykjavík. It is just a few steps away from the pedestrian streets. We were in studio B and it had a terrible smell coming from the bathroom that we didn’t find in any of our other hotels during our 2 week trip through Iceland. There was a small leak in the ceiling when it rained. The self checkin instructions are not very clear and it took us a while to find our studio. Especially because the instructions said studio A but our key was for studio B. Couldn’t find anyone on property to help us. There is street parking right out front but it is not free.

We arrived hotel around 9:30 AM hoping to meeting host there and ask if we can store luggage before we can checkin. The host wasn't there and our room key wasn't ready. So we carried all our luggage and wondered around the city till 2:00 PM and came back hoping to have room key ready. But the key still wasn't ready and the host is no where to be found. We met a bunch of other guests who couldn't check-in as well. Some of them called host and found out they couldn't find any body to clean the rooms due to some management issues. We were terribly tired at this time and decided just take a twin bed room as we booked and took a rest in the dirty room (used our own sleeping bag). We booked two nights. As we stayed the host never showed up. Now I found I'm charged full price for two nights. I think we deserve partial refund. Other than this issue we loved the property. It's right in the center of the city. The surrounding is beautiful and minutes to restaurants and stores.

Whatever you do, don’t stay at this property. I arrived and my room keys were ready for me but the room wasn’t. The beds were unmade and dirty towels from previous guests. I left for a few hours so they could get the room ready. No toilet paper provided other than what was left from previous guest.Came back to our room on the third day to a leak coming from kitchen ceiling. Water all over the floor and it kept us up all night. Called the owner of the property more than 5 times and no response to emails either. On the day we were leaving I saw the housekeeper who also called the owner and he didn’t answer either. Horrible customer services and the room was dirty.

We are sorry for this but our housekeeping got sick and we needed to come but we where outside of Reykjavik to come and fix this but you don't have to trashinh us with your review

This was the worst guesthouse we have ever been to, the radiator came out from the wall and the water was leaking everywhere. We have no place to put our luggages and we could not contact the owner. There were wet blankets on the floor when we checked in, so obviously the owner knew there was a leakage in our room before we arrived, but he/she did not inform us. This was very irresponsible. We had pension-age people and young children in our group, so the wet vinyl floor was highly dangerous, someone might have slipped and could have gotten injured. We tried to contact the owner but without any success. Besides, the kitchen and bathroom were very dirty.

HI We have never had so bad review and such of complainings but it can happend some damage in every things in the world even in 5 star hótels and seems like you want to terroricing us for all those things. It seems like you shocked but al those fixed immediately and also you don't read instructions. We clean our house every day 365 days á year so it would better for you pay more for 5 star hotel but ofcourse We are sorry for this happened to you but guests has been happy with us
