“Very beautiful”

“I picked this cabin for the proximity of several hiking locations. Perfect location to enjoy Garner State Park, Lost Maples Natural Area, the Frio and several local hiking/ biking areas. The room was super clean. Exactly as pictured. Mattress was very comfortable and the extra blankets came in handy on a 35 degree night. Great views from the porch and around the property. “This Hill country cabin was phenomenal. The views were amazing, the stargazing and birdwatching were over the top. The cabin had everything that we needed, and it was super clean. And there was a nice added touch, homemade cranberry pecan bread. We are already thinking about when we can go back. ”

“Everything was great. However there is no TV so be prepared to spend that day outside or bring board games. Not much to do at night. We were gone during the day everyday but would have been nice to watch at night. Also if you plan on cooking they have everything but seasoning youll want to bring that with you. Id suggest brining food as closest HEB or groc store is 1hr 15min away. They have a nice waterhole to check out outdoor games for kids. We went end of June and was hot but had nice breeze...

“while the highway we needed caused our drive just to be a little longer than what we would’ve experienced before the flooding it was still a very nice ranch. the cabin was very appropriate for me and my boyfriend. the host was very helpful through the whole thing . would go again. ”

“The hostess answered email questions quickly. Main complaint: it took us 2 hours and a police courtesy escort to find. No one we asked in Concan ( including the fire dept.) Had heard of it. If it weren't for VRBO we began to think we had been scammed. Once located, it was lovely. And we had a nice stay.”
