“There was a mix-up with the couple renting the other cabin. They arrived first, and was asked if they were the couple with the dog, and they said yes and were let in the cabin. When we arrived they had started unpacking, so we agreed to let them stay on our cabin, and we stayed in there cabin.There was no loft in our cabin, but we had paid for it. We were not going to make it an issue. We did enjoy our stay. Bed and couch very comfortable. Needs more light in kitchen area.”

“I booked 2 days at the Uvalde side of the duplex. It was a spontaneous trip, and I was relieved at how easy it was to book our stay. It was my first time using VRBO, so I was a little hesitant…but everything went great! The property was beautiful! We loved the cozy feel. The property was close to Garner State Park, which was a plus for us. The host was very precise/clear with the check-in and check-out procedures. “Everything was great. However there is no TV so be prepared to spend that day outside or bring board games. Not much to do at night. We were gone during the day everyday but would have been nice to watch at night. Also if you plan on cooking they have everything but seasoning youll want to bring that with you. Id suggest brining food as closest HEB or groc store is 1hr 15min away. They have a nice waterhole to check out outdoor games for kids. We went end of June and was hot but had nice breeze...

“Kat’s Kabin was a great place to watch the Geminid meteor shower. The dark skies are wonderful. It was so quiet. We could hear the owls & coyotes at night. The cabin kitchen is well stocked and the beds were comfortable. We can’t wait to come back. ”

“This house suited our large family just right, we had a great time and the house had a farm house cozy feeling. Our children and family loved the time we spent together. There was plenty of supplies to make a whole Thanksgiving dinner. We definitely will be coming back in the future and highly recommend it. ”

“Great location, convenient to surrounding attractions. Great pool. Kitchen was well equipped, plenty of clean towels. The only thing that I can criticize was that the floor under the beds were pretty dusty, but other than that it was great.”

“I held a yoga retreat there and the house was perfect for 15 women! The beds were so comfortable, everything was spacious. I really loved the openness of the communal spaces. There were multiple places for everyone to gather together and that was important for us. The owners were very helpful with getting everything ready and communication was great. ”
